پچھلے دو سالوں میں ادویات کی قیمتوں میں 300 فیصد سے زیادہ اضافہ ہوا
The Ministry of National Health Services informed the Upper House that the prices of medicines have increased by 311.61% during the last two years.
According to the details presented by the ministry in the Senate, during the last two years, the prices of essential medicines in Pakistan have increased by 5.13% and the prices of low cost medicines by 7.34% while the prices of 102 medicines have increased by 2.53%. Percent to 311.61 percent.
The House was also informed that out of a total of 177.04 million doses of vaccine, 44.48 million have been received as donations till November 15. The donated vaccines include 36.68 million doses donated by COVAX and 7.7 million doses donated by China. The government has purchased the remaining 132.56 million Covid 19 vaccines.
It is pertinent to mention here that in August, the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) had asked the government to reconsider its decision to increase the prices of essential and life-saving medicines.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry informed the House in a written reply that a total of 309 officers have been deployed in Pakistani missions. They include 272 career diplomats and 25 officers from other departments.
In addition, there are 12 retired military officers stationed in Pakistani missions abroad. There are 6 retired military officers in Grade 22 and 6 in Grade 21 in Pakistani missions. While 6 career diplomats of Foreign Service are posted abroad in Grade 22 and 25 career diplomats in Grade 21 are posted abroad.

وزارت کی جانب سے سینیٹ میں پیش کردہ تفصیلات کے مطابق گزشتہ دو سالوں کے دوران پاکستان میں ضروری ادویات کی قیمتوں میں 5.13 فیصد اور کم قیمت ادویات کی قیمتوں میں 7.34 فیصد اضافہ ہوا ہے جب کہ 102 ادویات کی قیمتوں میں 2.53 سے اضافہ ہوا ہے۔ فیصد سے 311.61 فیصد۔
ہاؤس کو یہ بھی بتایا گیا کہ ویکسین کی کل 177.04 ملین خوراکوں میں سے 15 نومبر تک 44.48 ملین عطیہ کے طور پر موصول ہو چکے ہیں۔ عطیہ کردہ ویکسین میں کی طرف سے عطیہ کردہ 36.68 ملین خوراکیں اور چین کی طرف سے عطیہ کردہ 7.7 ملین خوراکیں شامل ہیں۔ باقی 132.56 ملین کوویڈ 19 ویکسین حکومت نے خریدی ہیں۔
یہاں یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ اگست میں پاکستان میڈیکل ایسوسی ایشن (پی ایم اے) نے حکومت سے ضروری اور جان بچانے والی ادویات سمیت ادویات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کے اپنے فیصلے پر نظرثانی کرنے کو کہا تھا۔
دریں اثنا، وزارت خارجہ نے ایوان کو تحریری جواب میں بتایا کہ پاکستانی مشنز میں کل 309 افسران تعینات ہیں۔ ان میں 272 کیرئیر ڈپلومیٹس اور دیگر محکموں کے 25 افسران شامل ہیں۔
مزید یہ کہ بیرون ملک پاکستانی مشنز میں 12 ریٹائرڈ فوجی افسران تعینات ہیں۔ پاکستانی مشنز میں 6 ریٹائرڈ فوجی افسران گریڈ 22 اور 6 گریڈ 21 میں تعینات ہیں۔ جب کہ فارن سروس کے 6 کیریئر ڈپلومیٹس گریڈ 22 میں ملک سے باہر اور گریڈ 21 میں 25 کیریئر ڈپلومیٹس ملک سے باہر تعینات ہیں۔
