مریم اورنگزیب نے صدر عارف علوی کو تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Information Secretary Maryam Aurangzeb criticized President Arif Alvi and urged him to read parliamentary protocol.
The former information minister was referring to a letter sent by President Alvi to PML-N chairman Shahbaz Sharif. She was apparently unhappy with the way Shahbaz was addressed in the letter. “It is unfortunate to be unfamiliar with parliamentary positions and honours,” he said.
Maryam said that the President had to inform that Shahbaz Sharif is the Leader of the Opposition. However, despite being the President, Arif Alawi is unfamiliar with the constitutional, democratic and parliamentary etiquette of addressing the opposition.
“Negative attitude and thinking have destroyed the traditions of parliamentary and social etiquette, tolerance and respect,” he said.
The PML-N leader said Shahbaz has already provided free treatment and medicines to women as well as built state-of-the-art district health units and hospitals for the treatment of serious ailments.
