The Ministry of Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunications provided a summary to the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) that suggested important incentives for smartphone manufacturing in the country, said Syed Aminul Haque
The summary was forwarded to the ECC on behalf of Syed Aminul Haque, Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications.
The Federal Ministry said that manufacturing smartphones in the country and making them available at affordable prices was his top priority.
Aminul Haque added that manufacturing smartphones in the country would also create employment opportunities for the local population.

سید امین الحق نے کہا کہ وزارت انفارمیشن ٹکنالوجی (آئی ٹی) اور ٹیلی مواصلات نے اقتصادی رابطہ کمیٹی (ای سی سی) کو ایک سمری پیش کی جس .پر ملک میں اسمارٹ فونز کی تیاری کے لئے بڑی مراعات کی تجویز پیش کی گئی
تفصیلات کے مطابق فیڈرل منسٹر برائے انفارمیشن ٹکنالوجی اینڈ ٹیلی مواصلات سید امین الحق کے حکم سے سمری ای سی سی کو ارسال کردی گئی ہے۔
فیڈرل منسٹر نے کہا کہ ملک میں اسمارٹ فونز کی تیاری اور سستی قیمتوں پر اس کی دستیابی ان کی اولین ترجیحات ہیں۔
امین الحق نے مزید کہا کہ ملک میں اسمارٹ فونز کی تیاری سے مقامی لوگوں کے لئے روزگار کے مواقع بھی پیدا ہوں گے۔
