Pakistani social media have been hit by a storm since the Uzma Khan and Huma Khan scandal. Many people blame if they think it is right. Whether it was the raid on the house or extramarital affairs, people still want to know – why wasn’t Usman Malik brought out publicly and ashamed? After all, it’s his fault too, isn’t it?
While both Amna Usman and Uzma Khan have struggled for their rights in public, the husband who had an affair is pretty much missing in history. It goes without saying that social media is outraged by the existing patriarchal way of thinking.
In a recently released video, Amna Usman clarified things and said that her husband Usman Malik is also facing the consequences of his actions. She explained how, as a Pakistani woman, she gave her husband some opportunities to think about and refrain from the activities in which he was involved. But everything was in vain.
Amna revealed that she had to sell out all of her belongings, including her car, jewelry, and car, to help her husband through the currency crisis. However, Amna says that all her money went slowly but surely to Uzma Khan, who has eaten up millions of her money.
Amna Usman said enough is enough
We are literally [financially] drained. I’m at a point where I’m taking a divorce and I’m left with nothing.
Thank God that my in-laws are very supportive, they have supported me throughout this whole situation. Nobody is calling their son truthful or right.
She closed her video saying that Usman Malik has no one to support or prefer him, and that his situation is worse than that of Uzma Khan.

From our point of view, all parties are to blame and the weight of their mistakes is judged in court under Pakistani law. As for the personal impact, these adults as adults need to understand that every action has ramifications.
