Karachi: After actress Haniya Aamir, Mahwish Hayat and Mahira Khan also stood up in favor of actress Uzma Khan.
The issue of violence against Pakistani model and actress Uzma Khan and her sister Huma Khan has shaken the entire social media. While the artist community has also risen up over the treatment meted out to Uzma Khan.
Actress Mahira Khan tweeted on the Uzma Khan issue and said that two very different topics are being discussed. One is the subject of the infidelity of the man who cheated on his wife, on which no man can stand in support of her in his right mind, while the other is the subject of how the powerful can do anything and come out clean.
“I always stand with accountability and expect all of us on this land to be treated equally according to the law,” Mahira Khan added.
Apart from Mahira Khan, actress Mahwish Hayat has also raised her voice in favor of Uzma Khan. “Let’s differentiate between moral and legal issues,” he said on Twitter. Two wrongs can never be one right. The right to security at home is a basic human right enshrined in law and it is a real test for officials who need to prove that no one is above the law.
Jasmine Manzoor, a news anchor from Pakistan’s journalistic community, raised the issue of Uzma Khan and asked Mahesh Hayat if it was not his duty to speak up for his fellow artists. Why you and your artist community? Is silent.
Mahwish Hayat sarcastically replied to Jasmine Manzoor for reminding her of her duty and said, “Thank you for reminding me of my duty.” I have always supported my artist community, of which there is clear evidence. Maybe you should ask the media houses and news channels why they failed to cover this news?
It is to be noted that two days ago, some videos of actress Uzma Khan and her sister Huma Khan went viral in which it can be seen that some women with the help of their guards broke into Uzma Khan’s house and had an affair with her husband Usman. He was harassed and severely tortured for allegedly having an affair.

کراچی: اداکارہ ہانیہ عامر کے بعد مہوش حیات اور ماہرہ خان بھی اداکارہ عظمہ خان کے حق میں کھڑی ہوگئیں۔
پاکستانی ماڈل اور اداکارہ عظمہ خان اور ان کی بہن ہما خان کے خلاف تشدد کے معاملے نے پورے سوشل میڈیا کو ہلا کر رکھ دیا ہے۔ جبکہ فنکارانہ برادری بھی عظمہ خان کے ساتھ پیش آنے والے سلوک پر اٹھ کھڑی ہوئی ہے۔
اداکارہ ماہرہ خان نے عظمیٰ خان کے معاملے پر ٹویٹ کیا اور کہا کہ دو بہت ہی مختلف موضوعات پر تبادلہ خیال کیا جارہا ہے۔ ایک تو اس شخص کی بے وفائی کا موضوع ہے جس نے اپنی بیوی کو دھوکہ دیا ، جس پر کوئی بھی آدمی اپنے صحیح دماغ میں اس کی حمایت میں نہیں کھڑا ہوسکتا ہے ، جبکہ دوسرا اس موضوع کا ہے کہ طاقتور کیسے کچھ کرسکتا ہے اور صاف ستھرا نکل آتا ہے۔
ماہرہ خان نے مزید کہا ، “میں ہمیشہ احتساب کے ساتھ کھڑی ہوں اور توقع کرتی ہوں کہ اس سرزمین پر ہم سب کو قانون کے مطابق یکساں سلوک کیا جائے گا۔”
ماہرہ خان کے علاوہ اداکارہ مہوش حیات نے بھی عظمہ خان کے حق میں آواز اٹھائی ہے۔ انہوں نے ٹویٹر پر کہا ، “آئیے اخلاقی اور قانونی امور میں فرق کریں۔ دو غلطیاں کبھی بھی ایک درست نہیں ہوسکتی ہیں۔ گھر میں سلامتی کا حق ایک بنیادی انسانی حق ہے جو قانون میں شامل ہے اور یہ ان عہدیداروں کے لئے ایک حقیقی امتحان ہے جن کو یہ ثابت کرنے کی ضرورت ہے کہ کوئی بھی قانون سے بالاتر نہیں ہے۔
پاکستان کی صحافتی برادری کی نیوز اینکر جیسمین منظور نے عظمیٰ خان کا معاملہ اٹھایا اور مہیش حیات سے پوچھا کہ کیا ان کا فرض نہیں ہے کہ وہ اپنے ساتھی فنکاروں کے لئے بات کریں۔ آپ اور آپ کے فنکار برادری کیوں؟ خاموش ہے۔
