پاکستان کے کم ترقی یافتہ علاقوں کو مزید نظرانداز نہیں کیا جاسکتا: وزیر اعظم
وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے بدھ کے روز کہا کہ ملک کے کم ترقی یافتہ علاقوں کو مزید نظرانداز نہیں کیا جاسکتا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق وزیراعظم عمران خان نے آج چلاس میں عوامی اجتماع سے خطاب کیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اس وقت کی حکومتوں کے ذریعہ ماضی میں لئے گئے غلط فیصلوں نے ماحولیات پر خراب اثر ڈالا ہے اور صنعتی پیشرفت میں کمی واقع ہوئی ہے۔
دیامر بھاشا ڈیم منصوبے کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے عمران خان نے کہا کہ اس منصوبے کی تعمیر کا تاریخی فیصلہ تھا جو ’پاکستان کی تاریخ کا تیسرا سب سے بڑا ڈیم‘ ہوگا۔
دیامر باشا ڈیم ، جو پاکستان کے پانی ، خوراک اور توانائی کی حفاظت کے لئے ایک اہم منصوبہ ہے ، دریائے سندھ ، تربیلا ڈیم کے 315 کلومیٹر (کلومیٹر) اوپر ، گلگت کے 180 کلومیٹر بہاو ، اور چلاس شہر سے 40 کلومیٹر بہاو پر تعمیر کیا جارہا ہے۔
دیامر بھاشا ڈیم کی پیداواری صلاحیت 4،500 میگاواٹ ہے اور یہ منصوبہ ہر سال قومی گرڈ کو 18 ارب یونٹ ہائیڈرو پاور مہیا کرے گا۔
ڈیم کی تعمیر سے ملک کے صنعتی شعبے کو سستی بجلی ملے گی ، 16000 سے زائد ملازمتیں بھی پیدا ہوں گی اور ڈیم کی تعمیر سے مقامی لوگوں کے حالات بہتر ہوں گے۔ اس منصوبے سے کوہستان اور گلگت بلتستان میں بھی سیاحت کو فروغ ملے گا۔

Regarding the Diamer Bhasha Dam project, Imran Khan said it was a historic decision to build the project that will be “the third largest dam in Pakistan’s history”.
The Basha Dam diamer, an important project for Pakistan’s water, food and energy security, is being built on the Indus River, 315 kilometers (km) upstream of the Tarbela Dam, 180 km downstream from Gilgit and 40 km downstream from Chila’s city.
The Diamer Bhasha Dam has a generation capacity of 4,500 MW and the project will feed 18 billion units of hydropower into the national grid each year.
The construction of the dam will provide the country’s industrial sector with cheap electricity, create more than 16,000 jobs and the construction of the dam will improve the conditions of the local population. The project will also promote tourism in Kohistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.
