Khyber Pakhtunkhwa faces a deficit of Rs 3,180 crore due to increased expenses during the first quarter of this financial year.
The central government has released details of the income and expenditures of the center and the provinces during the first quarter of the current financial year, according to which Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the first quarter, due to higher spending than income, a deficit of Rs 3.18 billion. The province’s total revenue was 225 billion, while spending was 228 billion.
According to the details released by the federation, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s total income during July-September 2021 was Rs. 225.49 billion, of which Rs. On his own, he received Rs. 7 billion 27 crore of taxes, of which the province received Rs. Rs. 4 billion 41 crore of general service sales tax, and the provincial government received revenue of Rs. Rs 9 billion are also included.
During the first quarter of the current financial year, the Center provided Rs. 77.54 billion in loans and grants to the province, of which net loans of Rs. 25.55 billion, ongoing grants of Rs. Development grants are also included.
During the first quarter, the total expenditure of the provincial government was Rs. 228.67 billion of which current expenditure was Rs. 131.68 billion. Under the Public Sector Development Program, Rs. 54.45 billion was spent on development works, while the total deficit was Rs. 3.18 billion.

وفاق کی جانب سے جاری کردہ تفصیلات کے مطابق جولائی تا ستمبر 2021 کے دوران خیبرپختونخوا کی کل آمدنی 2000 روپے تھی۔ 225.49 بلین، جس میں سے روپے۔ اپنے طور پر اس نے روپے وصول کئے۔ ٹیکسوں کی مد میں 7 ارب 27 کروڑ روپے، جس میں سے صوبے کو 20 ارب روپے ملے۔ روپے جنرل سروس سیلز ٹیکس کی مد میں 4 ارب 41 کروڑ روپے، اور صوبائی حکومت کو 4 ارب روپے کا ریونیو حاصل ہوا۔ 9 ارب روپے بھی شامل ہیں۔
رواں مالی سال کی پہلی سہ ماہی کے دوران مرکز نے صوبے کو قرضوں اور گرانٹس کی مد میں 77.54 بلین روپے دیئے گئے ہیں جن میں سے 2000 ارب روپے کے خالص قرضے ہیں۔ 25.55 ارب روپے کی جاری گرانٹس۔ ترقیاتی گرانٹس بھی شامل ہیں۔
پہلی سہ ماہی کے دوران صوبائی حکومت کے کل اخراجات 228.67 بلین جس میں موجودہ اخراجات روپے تھے۔ 131.68 بلین۔ پبلک سیکٹر ڈویلپمنٹ پروگرام کے تحت روپے ترقیاتی کاموں پر 54.45 ارب روپے خرچ ہوئے جبکہ مجموعی خسارہ 3.18 بلین۔
