جمعہ کو کراچی کے میئر وسیم اختر نے کہا کہ شہر میں تجاوزات کے خلاف آپریشن جاری رہے گا اور غیر قانونی طور پر اٹھائے گئے تمام مکانات اور دکانوں کو ختم کردیا جائے گا۔

The Mayor of Karachi, Wasim Akhtar, said on Friday that the anti-intrusion operation in the city would continue and that all illegally built houses and businesses would be removed.
According to a press release from the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), the mayor has asked people who have either built businesses or houses on government property to voluntarily remove the illegal structures, otherwise “they will be responsible for the loss”.
“Operations would not be tolerated in the Empress Market or anywhere else in the city to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and relieve the strain on people,” he said, while instructing officials from the Ant Intervention Department.
