US President Daughter Ivanka Trump’s personal assistant and Vice President Mike Pence’s spokesman tested positive for coronavirus, U.S. officials said while confirming the third White House infection in less than a week.
The diagnosis of Katie Miller, married to Stephen Miller, immigration advisor and speechwriter in the White House, was revealed by Trump at a meeting with Republican lawmakers on Friday, the day after he learned that the valet was testing Trump positive for the virus would have.
“Katie, she tested very well for a long time and then suddenly she tested positive today,” Trump said, noting that he had no contact with her himself, but that she had spent time with the Vice President.
Earlier this week, a U.S. Navy person deported to the Donald House as a personal servant of President Donald Trump was tested positive for coronavirus.
