On Saturday, while Prime Minister Imran Khan reported on Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf decades of political struggle, the party had started a mission to achieve the vision of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
In a series of tweets, the prime minister said that their struggle for this mission has been tough compared to other political parties over the past 24 years. He also highlighted the basic objectives of the mission. The aim is:
- Rule of Law where all are equal before the law & the powerful are brought under the law.
- Break the stranglehold of the elite capture of our state & of our nation’s resources; & redistribute these resources more equitably in order to lift our poor out of poverty.
Imran Khan also mentioned late Naeemul Haq, Ahsan Rasheed, and Saloni Bokhari during the years-long struggle by the party.

ٹویٹس کے ایک سلسلے میں ، وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ اس مشن کے لئے گذشتہ 24 سالوں میں ان کی جدوجہد دیگر سیاسی جماعتوں کے مقابلے میں سخت رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے مشن کے بنیادی مقاصد پر بھی روشنی ڈالی۔
قانون کی حکمرانی جہاں قانون کے سامنے سب برابر ہیں اور طاقت ور قانون کے ماتحت ہیں۔
ہماری ریاست اور قوم کے وسائل پر اشرافیہ کی حکمرانی کا گلا گھونٹیں۔ اور اپنی قوم کو غربت سے نکالنے کے لیے ان وسائل کو زیادہ مساویانہ انداز میں تقسیم کریں۔
