میں رضوان کا دیا ہوا قرآن پڑھ رہا ہوں: میتھیو ہیڈن
Matthew Hayden, the batting consultant for the Pakistani cricket team, has said that he is currently reading a translation of the Holy Quran.
According to a report in the Arab News website Urdu News, citing an interview given to the Australian news agency News Corps, the English translation of the holy book was given to the former Australian cricketer as a gift by Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan.
Matthew Hayden in the interview said that one day the door of my hotel room rang and a man entered the room with Quran in his hand.
“That person was Rizwan and I would say that was a beautiful moment that I will never forget,” he said.
He added: “I belong to the Christian religion but I am curious about Islam. One prophet follows Jesus and the other the prophet of Islam and the two (religions) are different from each other.”
The betting consultant said that Rizwan gave me the English translation of the Qur’an as a gift. We sat on the floor for half an hour and talked about it.
At the same time, he said that he was studying the Qur’an little by little every day.
The former cricketer praised the wicket-keeper-batsman and said that Rizwan was his favorite personality and a champion man.
In the interview, he also praised Pakistan team captain Babar Azam and said, “Babar is a good player. He came to me last night and talked about his performance.”
Matthew Hayden said Babar Azam could be coached because he has an open mind.
On the other hand, while holding a virtual news conference in Dubai, he praised the adherence of the national team to religion.

He said that it is a great thing how Islam has united the players and how spirituality plays its role in the Pakistani team.

عرب نیوز ویب سائٹ اردو نیوز کی ایک رپورٹ کے مطابق آسٹریلوی خبر رساں ادارے نیوز کور کو دیے گئے ایک انٹرویو کے حوالے سے بتایا گیا ہے کہ مقدس کتاب کا انگریزی ترجمہ سابق آسٹریلوی کرکٹر کو پاکستان کے وکٹ کیپر بلے باز محمد رضوان نے بطور تحفہ دیا تھا۔
میتھیو ہیڈن نے انٹرویو میں کہا کہ ایک دن میرے ہوٹل کے کمرے کا دروازہ بجا اور ایک شخص کمرے میں داخل ہوا جس کے ہاتھ میں قرآن تھا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ “وہ شخص رضوان تھا اور میں کہوں گا کہ یہ ایک خوبصورت لمحہ تھا جسے میں کبھی نہیں بھولوں گا”۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا: “میرا تعلق عیسائی مذہب سے ہے لیکن میں اسلام کے بارے میں متجسس ہوں۔ ایک نبی حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کی پیروی کرتا ہے اور دوسرا اسلام کے پیغمبر اور دونوں (مذاہب) ایک دوسرے سے مختلف ہیں۔”
بیٹنگ کنسلٹنٹ نے بتایا کہ رضوان نے مجھے قرآن کا انگریزی ترجمہ تحفے کے طور پر دیا۔ ہم آدھے گھنٹے تک فرش پر بیٹھ کر اس کے بارے میں بات کرتے رہے۔
ساتھ ہی انہوں نے کہا کہ وہ روزانہ تھوڑا تھوڑا کر کے قرآن کا مطالعہ کر رہے ہیں۔
سابق کرکٹر نے وکٹ کیپر بلے باز کی تعریف کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ رضوان ان کی پسندیدہ شخصیت اور چیمپئن آدمی تھے۔
انٹرویو میں انہوں نے پاکستانی ٹیم کے کپتان بابر اعظم کی بھی تعریف کی اور کہا کہ بابر ایک اچھا کھلاڑی ہے، وہ گزشتہ رات میرے پاس آیا اور اپنی کارکردگی کے بارے میں بات کی۔
میتھیو ہیڈن نے کہا کہ بابر اعظم کو کوچ بنایا جا سکتا ہے کیونکہ ان کا ذہن کھلا ہے۔
دوسری جانب دبئی میں ورچوئل نیوز کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے قومی ٹیم کے مذہب کی پاسداری کی تعریف کی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ بڑی بات ہے کہ اسلام نے کھلاڑیوں کو کس طرح متحد کیا ہے اور پاکستانی ٹیم میں روحانیت کس طرح اپنا کردار ادا کرتی ہے۔
