Over the COVID-19 pandemic situation, there a lot of obstacles to carry out all matters related to Hajj 2020. The Federal Minister for the Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Pir Noor Ul Haq Qadri stated that this year Hajj will be expensive due to the adherence of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Pilgrims also have to face problems as government of Saudi Arabia has already in imposing ban on the international flights. This aspect may also act as a main obstacle for the government and pilgrims as well.
The Minister for Religious Affairs has attended the Hajj Conference with the representatives of Hajj organizers association Pakistan and Hajj organizers association Sindh, at Haji Camp.
While talking to media, the minister said:
“Hajj could be expensive this year due to the COVID-19 SOPs”
Moreover, Federal Minister for the Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Pir Noor Ul Haq Qadri said that the government is consulting to draft the Hajj Policy 2021. The government also plans to bring reforms in the Hajj Policy for the better facilitation of the pilgrims

وزیر مذہبی امور نے حاجی کیمپ میں حج آرگنائزر ایسوسی ایشن پاکستان اور حج آرگنائزر ایسوسی ایشن سندھ کے نمائندوں کے ساتھ حج کانفرنس میں شرکت کی۔
میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیر نے کہا
“کوویڈ 19 ایس او پیز کی وجہ سے اس سال حج مہنگا پڑ سکتا ہے”
مزید برآں ، وفاقی وزیر برائے مذہبی امور اور بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی ، پیر نور الحق قادری نے کہا کہ حکومت حج پالیسی 2021 کے مسودے پر مشاورت کر رہی ہے ، حکومت حجاج کی بہتر سہولت کے لئے حج پالیسی میں اصلاحات لانے کا بھی منصوبہ زیر غور ہے۔
