حکومت کا پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کا امکان
The federal government is reportedly considering raising the prices of petroleum products. According to sources, the price of petrol is likely to go up by about Rs 66 per liter after the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommended an increase of Rs 10 per liter for petroleum products.
However, the final decision will be taken after the approval of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The new prices will take effect after a notification is issued by the Finance Ministry in this regard.
OGRA has sent a summary to the Petroleum Division in which it has proposed to increase the prices of petroleum products from October 16.
Citing sources, Bol said that the regulatory authority has recommended an increase of Rs 5.90 per liter in petrol and Rs 10 per liter in high speed diesel.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that he was aware of inflation and the government was doing its best to control it. He claimed that petrol was being sold in Pakistan at the lowest rate as compared to other countries in the region.
He had said that the prices of commodities in the international market have increased dramatically.
The Finance Ministry had earlier increased the price of petrol by Rs 4 per liter to Rs 127.30 from October 1 after making adjustments in sales tax and petroleum levy.
The price of high speed diesel increased by Rs 2 per liter to Rs 122.04, kerosene by Rs 7.05 per liter to Rs 99.31 and light diesel by Rs 8.82 per liter to Rs 99.51.
Vice President of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Sherry Rehman walked out of the Senate on October 1 after criticizing the government over the recent rise in prices of petroleum products.
“Once again, the Tahabi government has dropped a petrol bomb in a time of high and severe inflation. The price of petrol is now Rs 127.3 per liter. They had already increased it by Rs 5 per liter on September 15, but now Prices have risen again.
He had said that PTI has a history of increasing fuel prices eight times a year, due to which most of the country is unable to work with such drastic strikes on its disposable income.

تاہم حتمی فیصلہ وزیراعظم عمران خان کی منظوری کے بعد کیا جائے گا۔ نئی قیمتوں کا اطلاق اس حوالے سے وزارت خزانہ کی جانب سے نوٹیفکیشن جاری ہونے کے بعد ہوگا۔
اوگرا نے پٹرولیم ڈویژن کو ایک سمری ارسال کی ہے جس میں پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں 16 اکتوبر سے اضافے کی تجویز دی گئی ہے۔
ذرائع کے حوالے سے بول نے بتایا کہ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی نے پٹرول کی قیمت میں 5.90 روپے اور ہائی سپیڈ ڈیزل کی قیمت میں 10 روپے فی لیٹر اضافے کی سفارش کی ہے۔
اس سے قبل ، وزیر اعظم عمران نے کہا تھا کہ وہ مہنگائی سے آگاہ ہیں ، اور حکومت اس پر قابو پانے کی پوری کوشش کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ خطے کے دیگر ممالک کے مقابلے میں پاکستان میں پٹرول سب سے کم ریٹ پر فروخت کیا جا رہا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا تھا کہ بین الاقوامی مارکیٹ میں اشیاء کی قیمتوں میں ڈرامائی اضافہ ہوا ہے۔
وزارت خزانہ نے پہلے سیلز ٹیکس اور پٹرولیم لیوی میں ایڈجسٹمنٹ کرنے کے بعد یکم اکتوبر سے پٹرول کی قیمت 4 روپے فی لیٹر بڑھا کر 127.30 روپے کر دی تھی۔
ہائی سپیڈ ڈیزل کی قیمت 2 روپے فی لیٹر بڑھ کر 122.04 روپے ، مٹی کا تیل 7.05 روپے فی لیٹر 99.31 روپے اور لائٹ ڈیزل کی قیمت 8.82 روپے فی لیٹر بڑھ کر 99.51 روپے ہوگئی۔
پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں حالیہ اضافے پر حکومت کو تنقید کا نشانہ بنانے کے بعد ، نائب صدر پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی (پی پی پی) سینیٹر شیری رحمان نے یکم اکتوبر کو سینیٹ میں اپوزیشن ارکان سے واک آؤٹ کیا تھا۔
“ایک بار پھر ، طحابی سرکار نے شدید اور شدید مہنگائی کے زمانے میں پیٹرول بم گرایا ہے۔ پٹرول کی قیمت اب 127.3 روپے فی لیٹر ہے۔ انہوں نے 15 ستمبر کو پہلے ہی اس میں 5 روپے فی لیٹر اضافہ کر دیا تھا ، لیکن اب قیمتیں ایک بار پھر بڑھ گئی ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا تھا کہ پی ٹی آئی کی سالانہ آٹھ مرتبہ ایندھن کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کی تاریخ ہے ، جس کی وجہ سے ملک کا بیشتر حصہ اپنی ڈسپوزایبل آمدنی پر اس طرح کی سخت ہڑتالوں کے ساتھ کام کرنے سے قاصر ہے۔
