حکومت غریبوں پر مہنگائی کے اثرات سے آگاہ ہے: وزیراعظم عمران خان
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said that the government is aware of the effects of inflation on the poor.
Prime Minister Imran Khan apprised Dr. Sania Nishtar of the provision of targeted subsidies to families under the SAPM Poverty Alleviation Awareness Program.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister remarked that the government was aware of the problems faced by the poor due to inflation.
The Prime Minister stressed that “for this purpose, targeted subsidies should be provided to the backward sections of the society.”
Talking about the important programs of the government, the Prime Minister said that Successful Pakistan is focusing on Sehat Sahulat Card and Ehsaas”Poverty Alleviation and Lower Class Social Development”.
The Prime Minister directed that a massive awareness program be launched to make the public aware of how the targeted subsidy can be achieved.
The Prime Minister’s Office said that the meeting was also informed that the Ehsas program has developed a mobile app in collaboration with the National Bank of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister’s Office said, “This application will be used by shopkeepers across the country to provide discounted items to deserving people.” Participants were also told that “appropriate care has been taken to eliminate the possibility of misuse of targeted subsidies under the Ehsas program”.
The meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, SAPM Dr Shahbaz Gul, SBP Governor Dr Raza Baqir, National Bank Chairman and senior officials.

وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے ڈاکٹر ثانیہ نشتر کو ایس اے پی ایم کی طرف سے غربت کے خاتمے کے احساس پروگرام کے تحت خاندانوں کو ھدف بنائے گئے سبسڈی کی فراہمی سے آگاہ کیا۔
ملاقات کے دوران وزیر اعظم نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ حکومت مہنگائی کی وجہ سے غریبوں کو درپیش مسائل سے آگاہ ہے۔
وزیر اعظم نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ “اس مقصد کے لیے معاشرے کے پسماندہ طبقات کو ٹارگٹڈ سبسڈی فراہم کی جانی چاہیے۔”
حکومت کے اہم پروگراموں کے بارے میں بات کرتے ہوئے وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ کامیاب پاکستان ، صحت سہولت کارڈ اور احساس “غربت کے خاتمے اور نچلے طبقات کی سماجی ترقی” پر توجہ مرکوز کر رہے ہیں۔
وزیر اعظم نے ہدایت کی کہ بڑے پیمانے پر آگاہی پروگرام شروع کیا جائے تاکہ عوام کو آگاہ کیا جا سکے کہ ھدف شدہ سبسڈی کیسے حاصل کی جا سکتی ہے۔
وزیراعظم آفس نے بتایا کہ اجلاس کو یہ بھی بتایا گیا کہ احساس پروگرام نے نیشنل بینک آف پاکستان کے تعاون سے ایک موبائل ایپ تیار کی ہے۔
وزیر اعظم کے دفتر نے کہا ، “اس ایپلی کیشن کا استعمال ملک بھر کے دکاندار مستحق افراد کو رعایتی اشیاء فراہم کرنے کے لیے کریں گے۔” شرکاء کو یہ بھی بتایا گیا کہ “احساس پروگرام کے تحت ٹارگٹڈ سبسڈی کے غلط استعمال کے امکان کو ختم کرنے کے لیے مناسب دیکھ بھال کی گئی ہے”۔
اجلاس میں وزیر خزانہ شوکت ترین ، وزیر دفاع پرویز خٹک ، وزیر اطلاعات فواد چوہدری ، ایس اے پی ایم ڈاکٹر شہباز گل ، اسٹیٹ بینک کے گورنر ڈاکٹر رضا باقر ، نیشنل بینک کے چیئرمین اور سینئر حکام نے بھی شرکت کی۔ میں
