حکومت نے ٹی ٹی پی کے 100 سے زائد قیدیوں کو رہا کر دیا
The government released more than 100 prisoners, most of them from interment centers, following a ceasefire announced by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Responsible senior security sources have confirmed to Express that the government has released more than 100 TTP prisoners. The majority of those released were those who were undergoing rehabilitation at government-run entertainment centers and were released before the six-month correction process was complete. Other prisoners released include foot soldiers.
According to security officials, the Pakistani government made the decision not at the request of the Tehreek-e-Taliban (with whom the government is in talks) but as a gesture of goodwill after the Taliban announced a ceasefire on November 1.
Security officials also told the Express that so far no direct talks have been held between the government of Pakistan or its representatives and the TTP negotiating team, but talks are being conducted through negotiators acceptable to both sides.
A senior security official also said that the government had made the decision on its own in the past and that no conditions had been imposed by the Taliban.
It should be noted that after the formation of the Taliban government in Afghanistan in August, Pakistan started a series of talks with the TTP at the request of the TTP. In which the Afghan Taliban has guaranteed the future peace of the Pakistani Taliban and the recognition of the Constitution of Pakistan. After which talks are underway with Tehreek-e-Taliban. On November 1, the Tehreek-e-Taliban declared a ceasefire, which is still being implemented.
According to top security officials, simultaneous talks are being held with different factions of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) but these talks are being conducted through negotiators.
تحریک طالبان پاکستان (ٹی ٹی پی) کی طرف سے اعلان کردہ جنگ بندی کے بعد حکومت نے 100 سے زائد قیدیوں کو رہا کیا، جن میں سے زیادہ تر انٹرمنٹ سینٹرز سے تھے۔
ذمہ دار سینئر سیکورٹی ذرائع نے تصدیق کی ہے کہ حکومت نے ٹی ٹی پی کے 100 سے زائد قیدیوں کو رہا کر دیا ہے۔ رہائی پانے والوں میں اکثریت ان لوگوں کی تھی جو حکومت کے زیر انتظام تفریحی مراکز میں بحالی کے عمل سے گزر رہے تھے اور انہیں چھ ماہ کا اصلاحی عمل مکمل ہونے سے پہلے رہا کر دیا گیا تھا۔ رہا ہونے والے دیگر قیدیوں میں پیدل فوجی بھی شامل ہیں۔
سیکیورٹی حکام کے مطابق پاکستانی حکومت نے یہ فیصلہ تحریک طالبان (جس کے ساتھ حکومت مذاکرات کر رہی ہے) کی درخواست پر نہیں بلکہ یکم نومبر کو طالبان کی جانب سے جنگ بندی کے اعلان کے بعد خیر سگالی کے اظہار کے طور پر کیا۔
سیکیورٹی حکام نے ایکسپریس کو یہ بھی بتایا کہ ابھی تک حکومت پاکستان یا اس کے نمائندوں اور ٹی ٹی پی کی مذاکراتی ٹیم کے درمیان کوئی براہ راست بات چیت نہیں ہوئی ہے تاہم مذاکرات ان مذاکرات کاروں کے ذریعے کیے جا رہے ہیں جو دونوں فریقوں کے لیے قابل قبول ہوں۔
ایک سینئر سیکیورٹی اہلکار نے یہ بھی کہا کہ حکومت نے ماضی میں خود ہی یہ فیصلہ کیا تھا اور طالبان کی جانب سے کوئی شرائط عائد نہیں کی گئی تھیں۔
واضح رہے کہ اگست میں افغانستان میں طالبان کی حکومت کے قیام کے بعد پاکستان نے ٹی ٹی پی کی درخواست پر ٹی ٹی پی سے مذاکرات کا سلسلہ شروع کیا تھا۔ جس میں افغان طالبان نے پاکستانی طالبان کے مستقبل کے امن اور پاکستان کے آئین کو تسلیم کرنے کی ضمانت دی ہے۔ جس کے بعد تحریک طالبان سے مذاکرات جاری ہیں۔ یکم نومبر کو تحریک طالبان نے جنگ بندی کا اعلان کیا تھا، جس پر تاحال عملدرآمد جاری ہے۔
اعلیٰ سکیورٹی حکام کے مطابق تحریک طالبان پاکستان کے مختلف دھڑوں کے ساتھ بیک وقت مذاکرات ہو رہے ہیں تاہم یہ مذاکرات مذاکرات کاروں کے ذریعے کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
