وزیراعظم مستعفی ہو کر عوام کو فوری ریلیف دیں، شہباز شریف
PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has advised Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign and give “immediate relief” to the people over his “failure” to control inflation.
On social networking site Twitter, Shahbaz Sharif said that if the bus is not running on flour, sugar, ghee, medicine, electricity, gas, petrol, economy, inflation, then it is up to Imran Khan to resign.
He further said that immediate relief should be given to the people by writing resignation. After sugar, another increase in petrol and electricity prices is a bombardment of inflation on the people. This government of tyranny cannot work.
In addition, PPP Senator Sherry Rehman sharply criticized the government, saying that “the two governments want to get 250 to 300 billion through the levy on the terms of the IMF.”
Sharing a part of the English newspaper news on Twitter, he said that those who call themselves honest, call others thieves are getting Rs 21 per liter on petrol and Rs 28 per liter on diesel.
Sherry Rehman said that the government was taking petroleum levy at Rs 10 per liter which was increased to Rs 15 in the coming days.
The PPP leader said that the catastrophic government wanted to get Rs 250-300 billion through levy on the terms of IMF.
He added that the target for petroleum levy revenue alone is more than the Rs 120 billion relief package.
Sherry Rehman said the government would further increase petrol, electricity and gas prices to secure an IMF loan. There will be more crisis and tsunami of inflation in the country.
He further said that the people would get relief only when this incompetent government would go home.
It may be recalled that after the rise in prices of petroleum products and increase in basic electricity tariffs for all residential consumers by Rs 1.68 per unit from November 1, the opposition has made a fuss against the government in both the houses.
Lawmakers cited container speeches by Prime Minister Imran Khan before he came to power, in which he sharply criticized former rulers for raising petrol and electricity prices and devaluing the rupee.

سماجی رابطے کی ویب سائٹ ٹوئٹر پر شہباز شریف نے کہا کہ آٹا، چینی، گھی، دوائی، بجلی، گیس، پیٹرول، معیشت، مہنگائی پر بس نہیں چل رہی تو یہ عمران خان پر منحصر ہے کہ وہ استعفیٰ دیں۔
ان کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ استعفے لکھ کر عوام کو فوری ریلیف دیا جائے۔ چینی کے بعد پیٹرول اور بجلی کی قیمتوں میں ایک اور اضافہ عوام پر مہنگائی کی بمباری ہے۔ یہ ظالم حکومت نہیں چل سکتی۔
علاوہ ازیں پیپلز پارٹی کی سینیٹر شیری رحمان نے حکومت پر کڑی تنقید کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ دونوں حکومتیں آئی ایم ایف کی شرائط پر لیوی کے ذریعے 250 سے 300 ارب حاصل کرنا چاہتی ہیں۔
ٹوئٹر پر انگریزی اخبار کی خبر کا ایک حصہ شیئر کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ خود کو ایماندار کہنے والے، دوسروں کو چور کہنے والوں کو پیٹرول پر 21 روپے فی لیٹر اور ڈیزل پر 28 روپے فی لیٹر مل رہے ہیں۔
شیری رحمان نے کہا کہ حکومت پٹرولیم لیوی 10 روپے فی لیٹر لے رہی ہے جو آنے والے دنوں میں بڑھا کر 15 روپے کر دی گئی۔
پی پی پی رہنما نے کہا کہ تباہ کن حکومت آئی ایم ایف کی شرائط پر لیوی کے ذریعے 250 سے 300 ارب روپے حاصل کرنا چاہتی ہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ صرف پٹرولیم لیوی ریونیو کا ہدف 120 ارب روپے کے ریلیف پیکج سے زیادہ ہے۔
شیری رحمان نے کہا کہ حکومت آئی ایم ایف سے قرضہ حاصل کرنے کے لیے پیٹرول، بجلی اور گیس کی قیمتوں میں مزید اضافہ کرے گی۔ ملک میں مزید بحران اور مہنگائی کا سونامی آئے گا۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ عوام کو تب ہی ریلیف ملے گا جب یہ نااہل حکومت گھر جائے گی۔
خیال رہے کہ یکم نومبر سے پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے اور تمام رہائشی صارفین کے لیے بجلی کے بنیادی نرخوں میں 1 روپے 68 پیسے فی یونٹ اضافے کے بعد اپوزیشن نے دونوں ایوانوں میں حکومت کے خلاف ہنگامہ آرائی کی ہے۔
قانون سازوں نے وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے اقتدار میں آنے سے پہلے کی کنٹینر تقریروں کا حوالہ دیا، جس میں انہوں نے پیٹرول اور بجلی کی قیمتوں میں اضافے اور روپے کی قدر میں کمی پر سابق حکمرانوں پر کڑی تنقید کی۔ ۔
