سابق ڈی جی ایکسائز شراب لائسنس کیس میں نیب کے سامنے پیش
قانون کی خلاف ورزی پر ایک ہوٹل میں شراب کا لائسنس جاری کرنے کے معاملے میں محکمہ ایکسائز کے سابق ڈائریکٹر جنرل (ڈی جی) اکرم اشرف گوندل قومی احتساب بیورو (نیب) کی ٹیم کے سامنے پیش ہوئے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ، اکرم اشرف نے اس معاملے میں وزیر اعلی پنجاب سردار عثمان بزدار کے خلاف منظوری بننے کی درخواست بھی دائر کردی ہے۔ سابق پرنسپل سکریٹری برائے راحیل صدیقی بھی اینٹی گرافٹ واچ ڈاگ کے سامنے پیش ہوئے۔
قبل ازیں سابق ڈی جی ایکسائز نے بیورو کے سامنے اپنا بیان ریکارڈ کیا اور دعوی کیا کہ انہوں نے چیف منسٹر آفس کو آگاہ کیا کہ شراب کا لائسنس جاری کرنا اس پالیسی اور قواعد کے منافی ہوگا کیونکہ این او سی مکمل نہیں ہوئے تھے۔
تاہم ، انہوں نے وزیر اعلی کے اس وقت کے پرنسپل سکریٹری راحیل احمد صدیقی کی درخواست پر لائسنس کی منظوری دی۔
Former Director General (DG) of the Excise Department Akram Ashraf Gondal appeared before a team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in connection with the issue of liquor license in a hotel for violating the law.
According to details, Akram Ashraf has also filed a petition against Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar seeking approval in the matter. Former Principal Secretary for Raheel Siddiqui also appeared before the Anti-Graft Watchdog.
Earlier, the former DG Excise recorded his statement before the bureau and claimed that he had informed the Chief Minister’s Office that the issuance of liquor license would be against this policy and rules as NOCs were not completed.
However, he approved the license at the request of the then principal secretary to the chief minister, Raheel Ahmed Siddiqui.
