PAKISTAN: The Chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munibur Rehman, announced on Monday that believers as Fitrana should pay 100 rupees per capita if they wanted to make the payment based on the price of wheat flour.
In a statement, Mufti Munib said that Fitra had calculated 320 rupees per capita on the price of barley, 1,600 rupees on the dates, 1,920 rupees on the raisin price and 3,540 rupees on the cheese price.
He said if someone could not fast during the entire month of Ramadan, he or she should pay Rs3,750 as fidya (compensation) if the payment was made based on the price of flour, Rs 9,600 in the case of barley, Rs48,000 Dates, Rs57,600 for raisins and Rs106,200 for cheese.
The scale for the penance for false cursing was set at Rs 1,250 (flour), Rs 3,200 (barley), Rs 16,000 (dates), Rs 19,200 (raisins) and Rs 35,400 (cheese).
Mufti Munib said the real spirit behind the Fitra and Fidya was a double meal for a destitute person, which cost around 125 rupees a day.
He said the rich should try to pay more because that is also the wish of Almighty Allah.

پاکستان: مرکزی رویت ہلال کمیٹی کے چیئرمین مفتی منیب الرحمٰن نے پیر کو اعلان کیا ہے کہ اگر وہ گندم کے آٹے کی قیمت کی بنیاد پرفطرانہ ادا کرنا چاہتے ہیں تو فی کس 100 روپے ادا کرنا چاہئے۔
ایک بیان میں ، مفتی منیب نے کہا کہ فطرا جو کی قیمت کے مطابق 320 روپئے ، تاریخوں کی قیمت کے مطابق 1،600 روپے ، کشمش کی قیمت کے مطابق 1،920 روپے اور پنیر کی قیمت کے مطابق 3،540 روپے ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر کوئی رمضان کے پورے مہینے میں روزہ رکھنے سے قاصر تھا تو وہ آدھے قیمت کی بنیاد پر ادائیگی کرنی ہو تو کھجور کی صورت میں 48،000 روپے ، کشمش کی صورت میں 57،600 روپے اور پنیر کی صورت میں 106،200 روپے۔
جھوٹی حلف برداری کے لئے توبہ کا معیار ایک ہزار دو سو پندرہ (آٹا) 3200(جو) ، 16،000 روپے (کھجوروں) ، 19،200 روپے (کشمش) اور 35،400 (پنیر) مقرر کیا گیا ہے۔
مفتی منیب نے کہا کہ فطرہ اور فدیا کے پیچھے اصل روح ایک بے سہارا شخص کے لئے دو وقت کا کھانا ہے ، جس کی قیمت ایک دن میں 125 روپے ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ دولت مند لوگوں کو زیادہ سے زیادہ ادائیگی کرنے کی کوشش کرنی چاہئے کیونکہ یہ اللہ رب العزت کی خواہش بھی ہے۔
