Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, special assistant to the prime minister for information and broadcasting, paid tribute to medical professionals and said that doctors and paramedics were fighting an invisible enemy.
The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant also paid tribute to those who attended and donated to the Prime Minister’s Ehsaas Telethon, saying that the next fundraising event for Ehsas Live Telethon would take place in the holy month of Ramadan.
“We will not leave the masses alone in difficult times because it is the state’s responsibility to help every citizen,” she said.
SAPM Firdous Ashiq Awan said in a video message that due to the economic situation in Pakistan, Pakistan could not adopt the Saudi or Turkish model of blocking and tried to support the poor in society through its efforts.
Dr. Firdous said, “Even the most developed countries have not been able to ration the masses in their homes for an extended period of time,” she added that they had to put their differences aside to fight COVID-19.
“We are also improving our test capacity,” said Dr. Firdous. She also said that both civil society and the government must fight the Cornavirus together. She added that the government is increasing the number of quarantine stations and quarantine facilities to cope with the increasing number of coronavirus cases.

وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی نےوزیر اعظم احساس ٹیلیتھون کو عطیہ کرنے والے افراد کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا اور انہوں نے کہا کہ احساسلائیو ٹیلیتھون کے لئے اگلا فنڈ ریزنگ ایونٹ رمضان کے مقدس مہینے میں ہوگا۔
انہوں نے کہا ، “ہم مشکل اوقات میں عوام کو تنہا نہیں چھوڑیں گے کیونکہ ہر شہری کی مدد کرنا ریاست کی ذمہ داری ہے۔”
ڈاکٹر فردوس نے کہا ، “یہاں تک کہ سب سے ترقی یافتہ ممالک بھی توسیع وقفہ تک عوام کے گھروں میں راشن نہیں دے سکے ہیں ،” انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ انہیں کوویڈ 19 سے لڑنے کے لئے اپنے اختلافات کو ایک طرف رکھنا پڑا۔
