ای سی پی نے پنجاب کے پی اور کنٹونمنٹ بورڈز میں بلدیاتی انتخابات کے شیڈول کا اعلان کردیا
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday submitted the schedule of elections in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Cantonment Boards to the Supreme Court.
According to details, the Supreme Court had directed the ECP to submit a progress report on the matter to the court. The apex court had also directed the Election Commission to discuss its meetings regarding the local body elections.
Punjab
The ECP informed the high court that the local body elections in Punjab would be held in three phases.
The first phase of the Local Government Council will be held on June 20.
The second round of polling will take place on July 16.
The third round of voting will take place on August 8.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The ECP further said that polling for the local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be held in two phases.
The first round of elections in the province will be held on April 8
The second round of elections will be held on May 29.
Cantonment boards
cantonment board elections will be held on April 08 and May 29.
جمعرات کو الیکشن کمیشن آف پاکستان (ای سی پی) نے پنجاب ، خیبر پختونخوا اور کنٹونمنٹ بورڈز میں انتخابات کا شیڈول سپریم کورٹ میں جمع کرادیا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ، سپریم کورٹ نے ای سی پی کو ہدایت کی تھی کہ وہ اس معاملے پر پیشرفت رپورٹ عدالت میں پیش کریں۔ عدالت عظمی نے الیکشن کمیشن کو ہدایت کی تھی کہ وہ بلدیاتی انتخابات سے متعلق اپنے اجلاسوں پر تبادلہ خیال کرے۔
پنجاب
ای سی پی نے ہائی کورٹ کو آگاہ کیا کہ پنجاب میں بلدیاتی انتخابات تین مراحل میں ہوں گے۔
لوکل گورنمنٹ کونسل کا پہلا مرحلہ 20 جون کو ہوگا۔
پولنگ کا دوسرا دور 16 جولائی کو ہوگا۔
ووٹنگ کا تیسرا دور 8 اگست کو ہوگا۔
خیبر پختونخوا
ای سی پی کا مزید کہنا ہے کہ خیبر پختونخوا میں بلدیاتی انتخابات کے لئے پولنگ دو مراحل میں ہوگی۔
صوبے میں پہلے مرحلے کے انتخابات 8 اپریل کو ہوں گے
انتخابات کا دوسرا دور 29 مئی کو ہوگا۔
کنٹونمنٹ بورڈ
اس کے علاوہ کنٹونمنٹ بورڈ کے انتخابات 08 اپریل اور 29 مئی کو ہوں گے۔
