Created in collaboration with Geo Films and Talisman Animation Studios, which achieved historic success, Geo’s first and Pakistan’s biggest illustrious blockbuster film ‘The Donkey King’ broke all records of world TV premiere in Pakistani history.
Due to corona virus and lockdown, all cinemas across the country remained closed on Eid, so on the first day of Eid, on May 24, at 7 pm, Geo Television aired a spectacular TV premiere of ‘Donkey King’. Provided home enjoyment and thus the film became the best source of entertainment for all people between the ages of nine and ninety. The film, full of satire and humor, was well received by all the people sitting at home and all records of viewership were broken and thus the film ‘Donkey King’ became the most watched television premiere in the history of Pakistan.
According to the ratings agency Kantar Media Pakistan, according to the data collected so far, Donkey King has attracted people of all ages, including children and adults.
Remember that ‘Donkey King’ has also snatched the record of viewership from the record-breaking film ‘Taifa in Trouble’ in Pakistan because Donkey King has received a total of 36.8 million impressions.
It may be recalled that ‘Donkey King’ was released last year in 2118 in which famous actors of Pakistani television and film industry performed their lively duties. The film dominated the box office for several weeks and raised the bar of success. The film, which is equally popular among children and adults, has made a whopping Rs 25 crore in Pakistan alone. The songs, trailers and promotional videos of the film have been viewed millions of times only on YouTube, which is still increasing with each passing moment.
In addition, Donkey King has made a name for itself in 11 countries, including Spain, Korea and Turkey.

یاد رہے کہ ‘ڈونکی کنگ’ نے پاکستان میں ریکارڈ توڑنے والی فلم ‘طیفا ان پریشانی’ سے بھی ناظرین کا ریکارڈ چھین لیا ہے کیوں کہ ڈونی کنگ نے کل 36.8 ملین تاثرات حاصل کیے ہیں۔
