ڈالر ایک بار پھر ملکی تاریخ کی بلند ترین سطح پر پہنچ گیا
The dollar continues to appreciate and after a further rise of 35 paise, the dollar has reached an all-time high of Rs 176.65 in the interbank market.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan, the dollar rose by Rs 1.35 against the rupee in the interbank market at around 2:15 pm on Thursday in view of the widening trade deficit of Pakistan.
At 3:40 pm in the open market, the selling price of the dollar was recorded at Rs 177.50 and the buying price was recorded at Rs 177.
Zafar Paracha, general secretary of the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, attributed the record depreciation of the rupee to delays in the flow of funds provided by Saudi Arabia in the form of aid package and the country’s rising import bill.
Malik Bostan, president of the Forex Association of Pakistan, also blamed rising import bills and a trade deficit for the rise in the value of the dollar.
ڈالر کی قدر میں اضافے کا سلسلہ جاری ہے اور 35 پیسے مزید اضافے کے بعد انٹربینک مارکیٹ میں ڈالر 176 روپے 65 پیسے کی بلند ترین سطح پر پہنچ گیا ہے۔
فاریکس ایسوسی ایشن آف پاکستان کے مطابق پاکستان کے بڑھتے ہوئے تجارتی خسارے کے پیش نظر جمعرات کی دوپہر 2 بج کر 15 منٹ پر انٹربینک مارکیٹ میں روپے کے مقابلے ڈالر کی قدر میں 1.35 روپے کا اضافہ ہوا۔
اوپن مارکیٹ میں سہ پہر 3 بجکر 40 منٹ پر ڈالر کی قیمت فروخت 177.50 روپے اور قیمت خرید 177 روپے ریکارڈ کی گئی۔
ایکسچینج کمپنیز ایسوسی ایشن آف پاکستان کے جنرل سیکرٹری ظفر پراچہ نے روپے کی قدر میں ریکارڈ کمی کی وجہ سعودی عرب کی طرف سے امدادی پیکج کی شکل میں فراہم کردہ فنڈز کے بہاؤ میں تاخیر اور ملک کے بڑھتے ہوئے درآمدی بل کو قرار دیا۔
فاریکس ایسوسی ایشن آف پاکستان کے صدر ملک بوستان نے بھی بڑھتے ہوئے درآمدی بلوں اور تجارتی خسارے کو ڈالر کی قدر میں اضافے کا ذمہ دار قرار دیا۔
