While we all strive to strengthen the role of women, there are still numerous cases of injustice and evil acts committed by people against the fairer sex in our country. Recently, a young girl in Chakwal was allegedly mistreated and attacked. If that wasn’t horrible enough, the young girl was disabled and her attackers were six men.
A mother reportedly filed an FIR against an unknown man who entered her home and sexually abused her 14-year-old disabled daughter. She said the man had entered her house and fled the night of May 26 when one of her daughters woke up.
“One of my daughters, who is 14 years old and is deaf and dumb, got frightened and traumatized. After being consoled, she revealed by sign language the identity of the man who had entered the house,” said the mother.

The case was registered by the local police after the daughter’s mother complained. She also said that her daughter had told her that she was raped by six men, including the man who came to her house at different times.
The girl also mentioned that another man took her to a “funeral home” on May 20 by motorcycle and sexually assaulted her.
The girl’s medical examination has been carried out and the authorities are waiting for the report.
“The initial report suggests that the victim has been sexually assaulted,” investigating Officer Bushra Batool told news reporters.
The police have currently arrested three of the six people involved in the heinous crime. A fourth suspect was also arrested but received bail before the arrest. The remaining two suspects remain to be arrested.

“میری ایک بیٹی ، جو 14 سال کی ہے اور بہری اور گونگے ہے ، خوفزدہ اور صدمے سے دوچار ہوگئی۔ تسلی دیئے جانے کے بعد ، اس نے اشارے کی زبان سے اس شخص کی شناخت ظاہر کی جو گھر میں داخل ہوا تھا ، “ماں نے بتایا۔
مقامی پولیس نے بیٹی کی والدہ کی شکایت کے بعد یہ مقدمہ درج کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ ان کی بیٹی نے بتایا تھا کہ اس کے ساتھ چھ افراد نے ان کے ساتھ زیادتی کی ہے ، جس میں اس شخص سمیت مختلف وقتوں میں ان کے گھر میں داخل ہوا تھا۔
لڑکی نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ 20 مئی کو ایک اور شخص موٹرسائیکل کے ذریعہ اسے “تدفین گاہ” لے گیا اور اس پر جنسی زیادتی کی۔
بچی کا طبی معائنہ کیا گیا ہے اور حکام اس رپورٹ کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں۔
تفتیشی افسر بشریٰ باتول نے نیوز رپورٹرز کو بتایا ، “ابتدائی رپورٹ میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ متاثرہ لڑکی کے ساتھ جنسی استحصال کیا گیا ہے”۔
اس وقت پولیس نے گھناؤنے جرم میں ملوث چھ افراد میں سے تین کو گرفتار کرلیا ہے۔ چوتھے مشتبہ شخص کو بھی گرفتار کرلیا گیا تھا لیکن وہ قبل از گرفتاری ضمانت حاصل کرنے میں کامیاب ہوگیا ہے۔ باقی دو مشتبہ افراد کو گرفتار کرنا باقی ہے۔
