یومیہ مزدوری کرنے والوں نے قلندر کے مزار کو چار ماہ بند رکھنے پر احتجاج کیا
پیر کو جامشورو میں صوفی سینٹ لال شہباز قلندر کے مزار کو کورونا وائرس کے سبب بند کرنے کے احتجاج کے لئے ایک نشست کا مظاہرہ کیا گیا۔
مظاہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ وہ بے روزگار ہیں اور انھیں کمانا پڑتا ہے۔
وائرس پھیلنے پر قابو پانے کے احتیاط کے طور پر مزار کو بند کردیا گیا تھا۔ لیکن مظاہرین چاہتے ہیں کہ مزار کو کھولا جائے اور وہ حکومت کے معیاری آپریٹنگ طریقہ کار پر عمل کرنے کے لئے تیار ہیں۔
مظاہرین میں سے ایک نے بتایا کہ دوسرے صوبوں (بلوچستان ، پنجاب ، خیبر پختونخوا) میں زیادہ تر دربار اور مزارات ایس او پیز کے ساتھ دوبارہ کھول دیئے گئے تھے ، لیکن قلندر مزار چار ماہ بعد بھی بند تھا۔
اُنہوں نے پوچھا “یہاں تمام لوگ مزدور ہیں۔ وہ لوگ جو ریسٹ ہاؤسز ، مزار اور آس پاس کی دکانوں میں کام کرتے ہیں۔ جب مزار بند ہوجائے گا تو وہ کیسے زندگی گذاریں گے؟ “.
انہوں نے کہا کہ “یہ لوگ بغیر کسی آمدنی کے بجلی اور دیگر بل کس طرح ادا کریں گے؟” ۔
گذشتہ ماہ صوفی بزرگ کا سالانہ عرس بھی منسوخ کردیا گیا تھا۔ یہ فیصلہ محکمہ اوقاف نے کورونا وائرس کی وجہ سے کیا ۔
اسلامی تقویم کے مطابق ، صوفی بزرگ عثمان مروندی جو لال شہباز قلندر کے نام سے مشہور ہیں کے مقدس مقام پر تین پُر مسرت دنوں کا آغاز 18 شعبان سے ہوتا ہے۔ پورے پاکستان سے ہزاروں افراد عرس میں شرکت کے لئے مزار پر جاتے ہیں۔
A sit-in was held in Jamshoro on Monday to protest the closure of the shrine of Sufi Saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar due to the Covid-19.
Protesters say they are unemployed and have to earn.
The shrine was closed as a precaution against the spread of the virus. But the protesters want the shrine to be opened and are ready to follow the government’s standard operating procedures.
In other provinces (Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), most of the shrines and shrines were reopened with SOPs, but the Qalandar shrine remained closed four months later, one of the protesters said.
“Everyone here is a laborer. People who work in rest houses, shrines and nearby shops. How will they live when the shrine closes?” He asked.
“How will these people pay their electricity and other bills without any income?” ۔
Last month, the annual Urs of the Sufi saint was also canceled. The decision was made by the endowment department because of the Covid-19.
According to the Islamic calendar, the three happy days at the shrine of the Sufi saint Usman Marwandi, popularly known as Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, begin on the 18th of Sha’ban. Thousands of people from all over Pakistan visit the shrine to attend the Urs.
