According to the National Dashboard of Pakistan, the total number of coronavirus cases has increased to 69,496, of which 42,742 are active cases and 1,483 deaths have been reported to date.
The latest statistics from the national dashboard show that 200 patients remained in critical condition while 25271 patients recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The country has registered 3,039 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Sindh has the highest number of infections up to 27360, followed by Punjab with 25056 patients. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) reported 9540 cases, 4193 in Baluchistan, 2418 in Islamabad, 678 in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and 251 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
