According to the National Dashboard of Pakistan, the total number of coronavirus cases has increased to 22550, of which 15807 are active and 526 deaths have been reported so far.
The latest statistics from the national dashboard show that 168 patients remained in critical condition while 6217 patients recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The country has registered 1,049 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Punjab has the highest number of infections up to 8,420, followed by Sindh with 8,189 patients. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) reported 3499 cases, 386 in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), 1495 in Baluchistan, 485 in Islamabad and 76 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
