According to the district health officer, the virus has been confirmed in 65 children in eight schools, including four government and four private schools.
Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced that teachers and staff of private schools in the province who have not been vaccinated will not be admitted to educational institutions and will be discharged from duty.
According to the notification issued by the Provincial Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education, this order also applies to other employees of the department.
It said that in case of non-compliance with the orders, the salaries of the employees would not be reduced but disciplinary action would be taken against them.
In the last 24 hours, 584 new corona cases were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 20 people were killed.

Nationally, 4,062 new cases have been confirmed in the country in the last 24 hours, with 84 more deaths from the disease.
The number of people affected by the epidemic in the state is 1,65,564 and the total deaths are 5,175.
So far, 1,194,198 people have been confirmed infected with the virus in the country, while 26,497 people have died from the virus.

ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ آفیسر کے مطابق آٹھ سکولوں میں 65 بچوں میں وائرس کی تصدیق ہو چکی ہے جن میں چار سرکاری اور چار پرائیویٹ سکول شامل ہیں۔
دریں اثناء خیبر پختونخوا حکومت نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ صوبے کے نجی سکولوں کے اساتذہ اور عملہ جن کو ویکسین نہیں دی گئی ہے انہیں تعلیمی اداروں میں داخل نہیں کیا جائے گا اور انہیں ڈیوٹی سے فارغ کر دیا جائے گا۔
صوبائی ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ایلیمنٹری اینڈ سیکنڈری ایجوکیشن کے جاری کردہ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق یہ حکم محکمہ کے دیگر ملازمین پر بھی لاگو ہوتا ہے۔
اس نے کہا کہ احکامات پر عمل نہ کرنے کی صورت میں ملازمین کی تنخواہوں میں کمی نہیں کی جائے گی بلکہ ان کے خلاف تادیبی کارروائی کی جائے گی۔
گزشتہ 24 گھنٹوں کے دوران خیبر پختونخوا میں 584 نئے کورونا کیس رپورٹ ہوئے اور 20 افراد ہلاک ہوئے۔
