Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, chief of the naval staff, chaired the command and staff conference of the Pakistani Navy at the naval headquarters in Islamabad
Field Commanders attended the conference via a video link conference from the respective field headquarters.
According to the Pakistani Navy press release, issues related to geostrategic environment, national security, operational readiness, training and well-being of the troops were discussed during the conference.
The command and staff conference reviewed the deteriorating security situation in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK) and reaffirmed its support for a just and lawful struggle by the Kashmiris.
Detailed information on various current and future development projects of the Pakistani Navy was also given to the chief of the naval staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi.
The naval chief was confident about the operational readiness of the navy and the successful execution of a series of live weapon shots with great professionalism and commitment.
The conference also discussed the nationwide spread of the corona virus and decided to maintain the operational readiness and support of the compatriots through ongoing relief efforts by the Pakistani Navy.
The Command & Staff Conference is the central decision-making body of the Pakistani Navy, where all chiefs of staff, chief staff officers and field commanders conduct a strategic review of the Pakistani Navy’s guidelines and plans.

کمانڈ اینڈ اسٹاف کانفرنس نے ہندوستانی مقبوضہ کشمیر (آئی او کے) میں بگڑتی سیکیورٹی صورتحال کا جائزہ لیا اور کشمیریوں کی انصاف پسند اور حق پرستانہ جدوجہد کے لئے حمایت کی تصدیق کی۔
