General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited forward troops along the control line (LoC). COAS has been informed of the recent situation after frequent ceasefire violations by Indian troops. ISPR tweeted
ISPR said the COAS has been informed of the response of the Pakistani army to the frequent ceasefire violations by Indian troops, targeting civilians along the LoC.
General Bajwa praised officers and soldiers for their continued vigilance and professionalism, and for the response of the Pakistani army to Indian army’s ceasefire violations.
Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lieutenant General Azhar Abbas was also with COAS when visiting the forward troops along the LoC.
General Bajwa said the apparent atrocities committed by the Indian occupation forces against innocent Kashmiris and the unethical orientation of the civilian population in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) were unacceptable.

آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق چیف آف آرمی اسٹاف (سی او اے ایس) جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ نے لائن آف کنٹرول (ایل او سی) کا دورہ کیا ، سی او اے ایس کو بھارتی فوجیوں کی طرف سے جنگ بندی کی مسلسل خلاف ورزیوں کے بعد تازہ ترین صورتحال کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا گیا۔
آئی ایس پی آر کا کہنا تھا ، سی او اے ایس کوبھارتی فوجیوں کی طرف سے جنگ بندی کی مسلسل خلاف ورزیوں پر پاک فوج کے ردعمل کے بارے میں بریف کیا گیا جہاں وہ کنٹرول لائن کے ساتھ جان بوجھ کر عام شہریوں کو نشانہ بنا رہے تھے۔
جنرل باجوہ نے مسلسل چوکسی اور پیشہ ورانہ مہارت کے لئے افسروں اور جوانوں کی تعریف کی اور بھارتی فوج کی طرف سے فائر بندی کی خلاف ورزیوں پر پاک فوج کے رد عمل پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا گیا۔
کنٹرول لائن کے ساتھ ملحقہ دستے کے دورے کے دوران کور کمانڈر راولپنڈی لیفٹیننٹ جنرل اظہر عباس بھی آرمی چیف کے کے ہمراہ تھے۔
