چیف الیکشن کمشنر اپوزیشن کی ترجمانی کرر ہے ہیں: فواد چوہدری
Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that the Chief Election Commissioner is the spokesperson of the opposition.
Addressing a press conference along with Babar Awan and Azam Swati, Chaudhry said that the Election Commission had a strange argument that Parliament could not guide them on how to conduct elections. He is in close touch with Nawaz Sharif.
Fawad Chaudhry said that the Election Commission is in the grip of controversy, the Election Commission has now become the headquarters of the opposition, if the Chief Election Commissioner has to do politics, he should resign and fight the election, we do not trust the Chief Election Commissioner, that attitude. ۔ Just look, don’t be a tool of small parties but head the organization, the Election Commission politicized the EVM and raised stupid objections.
Fawad Chaudhry said that we have reviewed the electoral process, taken the draft of electoral reforms to the parliament, also invited the opposition for talks, the best way to hold transparent elections is through electronic voting machines, wherever the opposition loses elections. He said that rigging was taking place and PML-N leaders were trying to make the legal amendment on the use of electronic voting machines controversial.
“We will introduce a bill on electronic voting machines and internet voting rights for Pakistanis abroad in a joint sitting of parliament,” said Babar Awan, parliamentary affairs adviser. We will refer to the election bill. This is the first time that members of the Election Commission have walked out. He introduced the election bill in October last year.
Azam Swati said that the Election Commission does not want fair and transparent elections through EVMs, the Commission is fully with the opposition, and has come before us as a party.
In addition, Federal Minister Shibli Faraz told reporters informally that the opposition and the Election Commission, even if the next elections are on electronic voting machines, would pass the bill rejected by the committee in a joint sitting of Parliament. The objectionable thing is that they challenge the technical people associated with EVM who can hack it and pay Rs 1 million.

پارلیمانی امور کے مشیر بابر اعوان نے کہا ، “ہم پارلیمنٹ کے مشترکہ اجلاس میں بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کے لیے الیکٹرانک ووٹنگ مشینوں اور انٹرنیٹ ووٹنگ کے حقوق سے متعلق بل پیش کریں گے۔” ہم الیکشن بل کا حوالہ دیں گے۔ یہ پہلا موقع ہے کہ الیکشن کمیشن کے ارکان نے واک آؤٹ کیا۔ انہوں نے گزشتہ سال اکتوبر میں انتخابی بل پیش کیا۔
اعظم سواتی نے کہا کہ الیکشن کمیشن ای وی ایم کے ذریعے منصفانہ اور شفاف انتخابات نہیں چاہتا ، کمیشن مکمل طور پر اپوزیشن کے ساتھ ہے ، اور بطور پارٹی ہمارے سامنے آیا ہے۔
