Pakistan summoned on May 17 a senior Indian diplomat to register violent protests against the ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the control line (LoC) in the Khuiratta sector. Muhammad Shafi, 37, living in Jijot Village, sustained serious injuries. It was pointed out that such senseless acts clearly violate the 2003 Ceasefire Memorandum of understanding and also run counter to all established humanitarian standards and all professional military conduct.
The Foreign Office said in a statement published here: “These tremendous violations of international law reflect consistent Indian attempts to escalate the situation along the LoC and pose a threat to peace and security in the region.” The statement also mentioned that Indian occupation forces along the LoC and Working Boundary (WB) had continuously targeted artillery fire, heavy mortars and automatic weapons at civilian areas. In the current year, India has committed 1081 ceasefire violations.
The Indian occupying powers show complete disregard for human rights through repeated shelling and shooting, which has resulted in a large number of shahadats and injuries. It was stressed that India’s increasing tensions along the LoC and WB could not distract attention from the serious human rights situation in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ & K). The Indian side has also been asked to allow the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) to play its role in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions (UNSC).

پاکستان نے 17 مئی کو ایک سینئر ہندوستانی سفارتکار کو ہرٹا سیکٹر میں کنٹرول لائن (ایل او سی) کے ساتھ بھارتی قابض افواج کی طرف سے سیزفائر کی خلاف ورزیوں پر احتجاج ریکارڈ کرنے کے لئے طلب کیا۔ جیجوٹ گاؤں میں رہنے والے 37 سالہ محمد شفیع کو شدید چوٹیں آئیں۔ اس طرف اشارہ کیا گیا کہ اس طرح کی بے وقوفانہ حرکتیں 2003 کے سیزفائر معاہدے کی یادداشت کی خلاف ورزی کرتی ہیں اور تمام قائم انسانی ہمدردیوں اور تمام پیشہ ورانہ فوجی طرز عمل کا بھی مقابلہ کرتی ہیں۔
دفتر خارجہ کے شائع ہونے والے ایک بیان میں کہا: “بین الاقوامی قانون کی یہ زبردست خلاف ورزیاں کنٹرول لائن کے ساتھ ہی صورتحال کو بڑھانے اور خطے میں امن و سلامتی کے لئے خطرہ لاحق ہونے کی مسلسل بھارتی کوششوں کی عکاسی کرتی ہیں۔” بیان میں یہ بھی بتایا گیا ہے کہ کنٹرول لائن اور ورکنگ باؤنڈری (ڈبلیو بی) کے ساتھ مقیم ہندوستانی قابض فوج نے سویلین علاقوں میں سیزفائر ، بھاری مارٹر اور خودکار ہتھیاروں سے مسلسل نشانہ بنایا۔ موجودہ سال میں ، بھارت نے جنگ بندی کی 1081 خلاف ورزیاں کی ہیں۔
بھارتی قابض طاقتیں بار بار گولہ باری اور فائرنگ کے ذریعے انسانی حقوق کو مکمل نظرانداز کررہی ہیں ، جس کے نتیجے میں بڑی تعداد میں شہادتیں اور زخمی ہوئے ہیں۔ اس بات پر زور دیا گیا کہ کنٹرول لائن اور ڈبلیو بی کے ساتھ بھارت کی بڑھتی ہوئی کشیدگی ہندوستان کے مقبوضہ جموں وکشمیر (آئی او جے اور کے) میں انسانی حقوق کی سنگین صورتحال سے توجہ نہیں ہٹا سکتی ہے۔ ہندوستان کی طرف سے یہ بھی کہا گیا ہے کہ وہ اقوام متحدہ کی سلامتی کونسل کی قراردادوں (یو این ایس سی) کے مطابق ہندوستان اور پاکستان میں اقوام متحدہ کے ملٹری آبزرور گروپ (یو این ایم او جی آئی پی) کو اپنا کردار ادا کرنے کی اجازت دیں۔
