کابینہ نے ججوں اور گریڈ 22 کے افسران کو دوسرا پلاٹ الاٹمنٹ ختم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔
The Federal Cabinet has decided to end the process of allocating the second plot on behalf of the 22nd Grade Officers and Judges for the second plot.
Prime Minister Imran Khan held a meeting where he appealed to the concerned authorities to immediately abolish the allocation of other plots for 22-class officers and a higher judiciary.
He said the allocation is being made by the Federal Government Employees Housing Board, adding that he has no part in it.
The Prime Minister said that it is highly immoral to take land cheaply from the poor for the benefit of a certain section of the society, adding that legislation should be enacted to prevent this practice if necessary.
Earlier, the Islamabad Supreme Court (IHC) ruled that the policy of allocating a second plot of land to 22nd-class officers and judges of the Supreme Court was illegal.
وفاقی کابینہ نے دوسرے پلاٹ کے لیے 22 ویں گریڈ کے افسروں اور ججوں کی جانب سے دوسرا پلاٹ مختص کرنے کا عمل ختم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔
وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے ایک اجلاس منعقد کیا جہاں انہوں نے متعلقہ حکام سے اپیل کی کہ وہ 22 درجے کے افسران اور اعلیٰ عدلیہ کے لیے دیگر پلاٹوں کی تقسیم کو فوری طور پر ختم کریں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ مختص فیڈرل گورنمنٹ ایمپلائز ہاؤسنگ بورڈ کر رہا ہے ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اس میں اس کا کوئی حصہ نہیں ہے۔
وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ معاشرے کے ایک مخصوص طبقے کے فائدے کے لیے غریبوں سے سستی زمین لینا انتہائی غیر اخلاقی بات ہے ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ضرورت پڑنے پر اس طرز عمل کو روکنے کے لیے قانون سازی کی جانی چاہیے۔
اس سے قبل اسلام آباد سپریم کورٹ نے فیصلہ دیا تھا کہ سپریم کورٹ کے 22 ویں درجے کے افسران اور ججوں کو زمین کا دوسرا پلاٹ الاٹ کرنے کی پالیسی غیر قانونی ہے۔
