PESHAWAR: A bomb blast on Ashraf Road injured five people. A bomb blast on Ashraf Road in Peshawar injured five people, including two traffic policemen.
After the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and the injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital where they were given medical treatment. According to doctors, the condition of the injured is out of danger.
Additional Inspector General (AIG) Shafqat Malik said evidence had been gathered from the scene, adding that the blast was remote-controlled and the bomb was improvised explosive device planted in a motorcycle. Two kilograms of explosives were used in the blast. According to AIG Shafqat Malik, the attack apparently targeted police and further investigations are underway.

پشاور: اشرف روڈ پر بم دھماکے میں 5 افراد زخمی ہوگئے۔ پشاور میں اشرف روڈ پر بم دھماکے میں دو ٹریفک پولیس اہلکاروں سمیت پانچ افراد زخمی ہوگئے۔
واقعے کے بعد سیکیورٹی فورسز نے علاقے کو گھیرے میں لے لیا اور زخمیوں کو لیڈی ریڈنگ اسپتال منتقل کردیا گیا جہاں انہیں طبی امداد دی گئی۔ ڈاکٹروں کے مطابق زخمیوں کی حالت خطرے سے باہر ہے۔
ایڈیشنل انسپکٹر جنرل (اے آئی جی) شفقت ملک نے بتایا کہ جائے وقوعہ سے شواہد اکٹھے کیے گئے ہیں ، انہوں نے مزید بتایا کہ دھماکا ریموٹ کنٹرول تھا اور بم ایک موٹرسائیکل میں نصب دھماکہ خیز آلہ تھا۔ دھماکے میں دو کلو بارودی مواد استعمال کیا گیا تھا۔ اے آئی جی شفقت ملک کے مطابق ، حملے نے بظاہر پولیس کو نشانہ بنایا اور مزید تفتیش جاری ہے۔
