The epicenter was reported at 3:02 pm with a magnitude of 5.9 and a depth of 15 km. The epicenter was reported near Harnai. The quake affected Quetta, Sibi, Chaman, Ziarat, Qila Abdullah, Zhob, Loralai, Pishin, Muslim Bagh and other parts of the country. And damaged government buildings.
A rescue operation has been launched in the quake-hit areas of Balochistan and a helicopter has reached Harnai to transport the injured to Quetta, while doctors and paramedics have been called to hospitals in Harnai and Quetta.
On the other hand, DGP DMA Nasir Nasir said that Harnai is a hilly area, due to which there are difficulties in relief work. However, Levies and rescue teams are also working in the affected areas of Harnai.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), nine people seriously injured in the quake were airlifted to Quetta by Army helicopters, while the affected population was provided with medical facilities, including food and relief supplies. Has also been started.
ISPR’s IGFC Balochistan has also reached Harnai and is self-assessing the damage while a civil search and rescue team has been dispatched from Rawalpindi.
Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives and property as a result of the earthquake in different parts of Balochistan and directed the government to provide all possible assistance to the concerned federal agencies in providing relief to the injured. Instructing to provide the best medical facilities, he said that the central government would provide all possible help in this difficult time.

دوسری جانب ڈی جی پی ڈی ایم اے ناصر ناصر نے کہا کہ ہرنائی پہاڑی علاقہ ہے ، جس کی وجہ سے امدادی کاموں میں مشکلات ہیں۔ تاہم ہرنائی کے متاثرہ علاقوں میں لیویز اور ریسکیو ٹیمیں بھی کام کر رہی ہیں۔
پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) کے مطابق زلزلے میں شدید طور پر زخمی ہونے والے نو افراد کو آرمی ہیلی کاپٹروں کے ذریعے کوئٹہ پہنچایا گیا جبکہ متاثرہ آبادی کو طبی سہولیات بشمول خوراک اور امدادی سامان فراہم کیا گیا۔ شروع بھی کر دیا گیا ہے۔
آئی ایس پی آر کا آئی جی ایف سی بلوچستان بھی ہرنائی پہنچ گیا ہے اور نقصان کا خود جائزہ لے رہا ہے جبکہ راولپنڈی سے سول سرچ اینڈ ریسکیو ٹیم روانہ کر دی گئی ہے۔
وزیراعظم عمران خان نے بلوچستان کے مختلف علاقوں میں زلزلے کے نتیجے میں قیمتی جانوں اور املاک کے ضیاع پر گہرے دکھ اور افسوس کا اظہار کیا اور حکومت کو ہدایت کی کہ زخمیوں کو ریلیف دینے میں متعلقہ وفاقی اداروں کو ہر ممکن مدد فراہم کی جائے۔ بہترین طبی سہولیات فراہم کرنے کی ہدایت دیتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ مرکزی حکومت اس مشکل وقت میں ہر ممکن مدد فراہم کرے گی۔
