Former Senator Javed Jabbar announced his resignation from the 10th National Finance Commission (NFC) on Saturday. Baluchistan Prime Minister Jam Kamal had named him a 10th NFC as a non-legal member from Baluchistan.
He thanked President Dr. Arif Alvi, Governor of Baluchistan, Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai (ret.) And Prime Minister Jam Kamal for his appointment as a non-statutory member of Baluchistan in the 10th NFC, as reported on May 12.
“Any Pakistani citizen who, in the opinion of the nominating authority and the licensing authority, regardless of the province of residence, is appropriately qualified, is authorized by constitution and law to represent one of the four provinces and serve in the province as an NFC or other federal or provincial authority Javed Jabbar said in a statement.
Jabbar said: “Because of my many years of working with the great people and the Baluchistan Province in the past 45 years in various public service roles, including a six-year tenure in the Senate and three times as a member of federal cabinets and as a volunteer in development, I had them unwanted, unexpected honor accepted – just to make a modest, potentially positive contribution. My initial belief was that although I do not live in the province, experience in political economy and familiarity with the province’s core problems could be used to represent Balochistan. Several residents of Baluchistan have sent their appreciated congratulations and support for my nomination, ”the statement said.
In Baluchistan, however, political opposition to my nomination had been voiced, he said, adding that petitions had also been submitted to the Balochistan Supreme Court and the verdict would be announced shortly.
In response to his resignation, the Prime Minister tweeted: “Javed Jabbar Sahib’s voluntary resignation is a sad event and it is sad to see how some self-centered people have disinformation about him. He is a man with knowledge, experience, depth in Baluchistan and years in NFC. Hope those who are criticized and played negatively will realize it! “

سابق سینیٹر جاوید جبار نے ہفتہ کے روز دسویں قومی خزانہ کمیشن (این ایف سی) سے استعفیٰ دینے کا اعلان کیا۔
انہوں نے صدر مملکت ڈاکٹر عارف علوی ، گورنر بلوچستان ، جسٹس امان اللہ خان یاسین زئی (ر) اور وزیر اعلی جام کمال کی 10 ویں این ایف سی میں بلوچستان کے قانونی ممبر کی حیثیت سے تقرری کے لئے ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا ، جیسا کہ 12 مئی کو رپورٹ کیا گیا ہے۔
“پاکستان کا کوئی بھی شہری جو نامزد کرنے والے اختیار اور منظور شدہ اتھارٹی کی رائے میں صوبہ رہائش سے قطع نظر مناسب اہلیت کا حامل ہے ، آئین اور قانون کے مطابق ، 4 صوبوں میں سے کسی کی نمائندگی کرنے اور اس پر خدمات انجام دینے کے اہل ہے ، این ایف سی ، یا کوئی دوسرا وفاقی یا صوبائی ادارہ ، “جاوید جبار نے ایک بیان میں کہا۔
