Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that there is still no final decision to reopen schools in the province as coronavirus cases continue to increase in the country.
Ghani said that the schools will be the last places to be reopened in the province.
The minister said that parents will not send their children to schools in the current situation.
Regarding the approval of public road traffic, the Minister of Sindh said that the matter would be examined and approved along with the standard operating procedures.
The Sindh home department extended the province’s closure until Monday, June 30, to take into account the worrying increase in virus cases. A formal notice has also been published in this regard.
A statement from the Sindh Home Department states: “Business hours apart from pharmacies and essential services – five days a week (Monday to Friday) from morning to maghreb (6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.).”
The step towards reopening businesses in the province is part of Sindh’s compliance with the Supreme Court’s policy to formulate a unified coronavirus blocking policy.
Ghani previously said that schools may not be able to reopen for six months and that a new online curriculum will soon be launched as the country continues to deal with the outbreak of the corona virus.

وزیر تعلیم سندھ سعید غنی نے کہا کہ ابھی تک صوبے میں اسکولوں کو دوبارہ کھولنے کا کوئی حتمی فیصلہ نہیں ہوا ہے کیونکہ ملک میں کورونا وائرس کے معاملات میں مسلسل اضافہ ہوتا جارہا ہے۔
غنی نے کہا کہ اسکولوں کو صوبے میں دوبارہ کھولنے کی آخری جگہیں ہوں گی۔ وزیر نے کہا کہ موجودہ صورتحال میں والدین اپنے بچوں کو اسکول نہیں بھیجیں گے۔
عوامی سڑک ٹریفک کی منظوری کے بارے میں ، وزیر سندھ نے کہا کہ معیاری آپریٹنگ طریقہ کار کے ساتھ ہی اس معاملے کی جانچ اور منظوری دی جائے گی۔
محکمہ داخلہ سندھ نے وائرس کے معاملات میں تشویش ناک اضافے کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے پیر 30 جون تک صوبے کی بندش میں توسیع کردی۔ اس سلسلے میں باضابطہ نوٹس بھی شائع کیا گیا ہے۔
محکمہ داخلہ سندھ کی جانب سے ایک بیان میں کہا گیا ہے: “فارمیسیوں اور ضروری خدمات کے علاوہ کاروباری گھنٹے۔ ہفتے میں پانچ دن (پیر سے جمعہ) صبح سے مغرب تک (صبح 6 بجے سے صبح 7 بجکر شام)۔”
صوبے میں کاروبار کو دوبارہ کھولنے کی سمت ایک متفقہ کورونا وائرس بلاک کرنے کی پالیسی بنانے کے لئے سندھ کی سپریم کورٹ کی پالیسی پر عمل پیرا ہونے کا ایک حصہ ہے۔
غنی نے پہلے کہا تھا کہ اسکول شاید چھ ماہ تک دوبارہ نہیں کھول پائیں گے اور جلد ہی ایک نیا آن لائن نصاب بھی شروع کیا جائے گا کیونکہ اس ملک میں کورونا وائرس کے پھیلنے سے نمٹنے کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔
