اسد عمر نے نولونگ ڈیم کی تعمیر کا کام شروع کرنے کی ہدایت کردی
وزیر منصوبہ بندی ، ترقیات اور خصوصی اقدامات اسد عمر نے بلوچستان میں نولونگ ڈیم کی تعمیراتی کام 28 ارب روپے کی لاگت سے شروع کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔
بلوچستان میں آبی منصوبوں کی پیشرفت کا جائزہ لینے کے لئے یہاں اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے ، وزیر نے کہا کہ موجودہ حکومت نے ڈیموں اور نہری نظام کی تعمیر کے لئے میگا پراجیکٹس شروع کیے ہیں جبکہ ان منصوبوں کے علاوہ نولونگ ڈیم بھی شامل ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ان منصوبوں سے صوبہ بلوچستان میں پانی کی قلت کے مسائل کو حل کرنے میں مدد ملے گی۔
اس سے قبل اسد عمر کو بلوچستان کے واٹر منصوبوں اور نولونگ ڈیم کی پیشرفت سے متعلق خصوصی بریفنگ دی گئی تھی۔
ڈپٹی چیئرمین پلاننگ کمیشن محمد جہانزیب خان ، سیکرٹری پلاننگ ماتھر نیاز رانا ، سیکرٹری آبپاشی محکمہ بلوچستان اور اعلی عہدیداروں نے بھی ویڈیو کانفرنس کے ذریعے بریفنگ میں شرکت کی۔
نولونگ ڈیم ، ایک پشتی ڈیم ہے جو دریائے مولا پر تعمیر کیا جاسکتا ہے ، جو بلوچستان کے ضلع جھل مگسی میں گنڈاوہ شہر سے 30 کلومیٹر دور ہے۔
Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar, has instructed to begin construction on the Naolong Dam in Baluchistan. The cost is 28 billion rupees.
The minister held a meeting here to review the progress of water projects in Baluchistan and said the incumbent government had initiated mega-projects to build dams and canal systems while the Naulong Dam was added to these projects.
He said these projects would help solve water scarcity problems in Baluchistan province.
Asad Umar had previously received a special briefing on the progress of the water projects in Baluchistan and the Naolong Dam.
The Vice Chairman of the Planning Commission, Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan, the Planning Secretary Mathar Niaz Rana, the Secretary of the Irrigation Department Baluchistan, and senior officials also attended the video conference meeting.
The Naulong Dam is an embankment dam that is to be built on the Mula River, about 30 km from Gandawah City, in the Jhal Magsi District in Baluchistan.
