In Pakistan, coronavirus cases are increasing day by day, with the total number in the country exceeding 13,300. ARY is leading media media network was closed after 8 people responded positively to the novel corona virus.
As a precautionary measure, 20 tests were carried out after the administration after 2 persons showed symptoms of the coronavirus.
ARY owner Salman Iqbal has posted the news on Twitter and explains that the office is now being renovated and all employees are being tested. The administration has also instructed employees to stay at home until further notice.
As a precautionary measure, random testing was done in ARY Islamabad office, 8 reported positive out of 20 tests, 2 have shown symptoms. We have closed our Islamabad office. All staff will be tested and office to be sanitised. Till all staff is tested, employees have been asked to stay at home.
Despite repeated warnings, some offices are still open, which increases the likelihood of the coronavirus spreading. ARY had previously claimed that most of its employees were relocated to work remotely and only the necessary employees were asked to come to offices. However, the latest news raises doubts about the honesty of the network in this matter.
A majority of companies around the world have adopted the work-from-home model to minimize the spread. The bosses in Pakistan, however, continue to expose their staff to the risk of contracting coronavirus.

اے آر وائی کے مالک سلمان اقبال نے ٹویٹر پر اس خبر کو شیئر کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ اب دفتر کی صفائی کی جائے گی اور تمام ملازمین کی جانچ ہوگی۔ انتظامیہ نے ملازمین کو بھی مزید اطلاع آنے تک گھر پر ہی رہنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔
