ڈی جی آئی ایس آئی کی تقرری وزیر اعظم کے اختیار میں ہے: فواد چوہدری
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that the authority in the appointment of DG ISI is the Prime Minister.
During the media briefing after the cabinet meeting, Fawad Chaudhry said that there are very good relations between Pakistan’s military and civilian leadership. Last night, there was a long meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Army Chief. The army chief will not take any step that would tarnish the image of the army and the country.
The Federal Minister said that the Prime Minister took the Cabinet into confidence on the issue of DG ISI, the authority in the appointment of DG ISI is the Prime Minister. Legal procedure will be followed for the appointment of new DG ISI.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that prayers were offered for the reward of Mohsin Pakistan Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan in the cabinet meeting. Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff and Naval Chief were also present in the funeral prayer. More than 15 ministers were present in the funeral prayer of Dr. Abdul Qadeer. It is not in our ministry to make our own pictures everywhere.
وفاقی وزیر اطلاعات و نشریات فواد چوہدری نے کہا ہے کہ ڈی جی آئی ایس آئی کی تقرری میں اختیار وزیر اعظم کا ہے۔
کابینہ کے اجلاس کے بعد میڈیا بریفنگ کے دوران فواد چوہدری نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی فوجی اور سویلین قیادت کے درمیان بہت اچھے تعلقات ہیں۔ کل رات وزیراعظم عمران خان اور آرمی چیف کے درمیان طویل ملاقات ہوئی۔ آرمی چیف کوئی ایسا قدم نہیں اٹھائیں گے جس سے فوج اور ملک کا امیج خراب ہو۔
وفاقی وزیر نے کہا کہ وزیراعظم نے ڈی جی آئی ایس آئی کے معاملے پر کابینہ کو اعتماد میں لیا ، ڈی جی آئی ایس آئی کی تقرری میں اتھارٹی وزیر اعظم کی ہے۔ نئے ڈی جی آئی ایس آئی کی تقرری کے لیے قانونی طریقہ کار اختیار کیا جائے گا۔
وزیر اطلاعات فواد چوہدری نے کہا کہ کابینہ کے اجلاس میں محسن پاکستان ڈاکٹر عبدالقدیر خان کے ایصال ثواب کے لیے دعائیں کی گئیں۔ نماز جنازہ میں چیئرمین جوائنٹ چیفس آف سٹاف اور نیول چیف بھی موجود تھے۔ ڈاکٹر عبدالقدیر کی نماز جنازہ میں 15 سے زائد وزراء موجود تھے۔ ہر جگہ اپنی تصویریں بنانا ہماری وزارت میں نہیں ہے۔
