YouTube, the world’s most popular application, has introduced hashtag landing pages. YouTube has posted this news on its Google support page.
YouTube said on its support page,
“This new feature will help users discover videos by hashtag.”
Other platforms such as Twitter and Instagram have been using the hashtag for many years, and the news hashtag landing page will be available through both Android and iOS and its desktop versions of the YouTube app.
YouTube is changing the way it helps users to discover videos by grouping together. The app will show you the content associated with that particular hashtag, while clicking on the hashtag will take the user to a dedicated page that only contains videos that use that particular hashtag.
Google has said that the page dedicated to this hashtag will be arranged in such a way that the best videos appear at the top.
