Prime Minister Imran Khan directed to pay compensation to the victims of the plane crash as well as to the victims whose homes or properties have been affected by the crash. The meeting was attended by Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Information Minister Shibli Faraz, Special Assistant for Information Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa, Special Assistant Dr Shahbaz Gul, Secretary Aviation Division Hassan Nasir Jami, Chief Executive PIA Air Marshal Arshad Mahmood Malik and other senior officers participated. Prime Minister Imran Khan was given a detailed briefing on the investigation into the PIA plane crash, the services of domestic and foreign experts to ensure a transparent and impartial inquiry into the crash and the progress made so far.
Expressing deep sorrow and grief over the loss of human lives in the plane crash, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the accident on the occasion of Eid was a great tragedy for the nation, expressing his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He said that in this hour of grief, they share in the grief of the bereaved families. “There is no substitute for human life, but the government assures the victims that all the demands of justice will be met in this tragic incident,” he said. Prime Minister Imran Khan directed that no effort be spared to bring to light the transparent and impartial inquiry into the accident and the facts related to the incident. Talking about the past air accidents, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that reports of all past accidents should also be made public so that the public could be made aware of the facts in this regard. He said that in order to make air travel safer, it was necessary to expedite the reform process in civil aviation, PIA, relevant agencies and factors related to air travel. The Prime Minister directed that in addition to providing all possible facilities and compensation to the families of the martyred passengers, a package should also be prepared to compensate the victims whose homes or properties have been affected by the accident.

وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے طیارے کے حادثے کے متاثرین کے ساتھ ساتھ ان متاثرین کو بھی معاوضہ ادا کرنے کی ہدایت کی جن کے گھر یا املاک حادثے سے متاثر ہوئے ہیں۔ اجلاس میں وزیر ہوا بازی غلام سرور خان ، وزیر اطلاعات شبلی فراز ، معاون خصوصی برائے اطلاعات لیفٹیننٹ جنرل (ر) عاصم سلیم باجوہ ، معاون خصوصی ڈاکٹر شہباز گل ، سیکریٹری ایوی ایشن ڈویژن حسن ناصر جامی ، چیف ایگزیکٹو پی آئی اے ایئر مارشل ارشد محمود ملک اور دیگر اعلی افسران نے شرکت کی۔ وزیر اعظم عمران خان کو پی آئی اے طیارہ حادثے کی تحقیقات ، ملکی اور غیر ملکی ماہرین کی خدمات کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی تاکہ حادثے کی شفاف اور غیر جانبدارانہ تحقیقات کو یقینی بنایا جاسکے اور اب تک کی پیشرفت کے بارے میں بھی آگاہ کیا گیا۔
طیارہ حادثے میں انسانی جانوں کے ضیاع پر گہرے رنج و غم کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے کہا کہ عید کے موقع پر پیش آنے والا حادثہ قوم کے لئے ایک بہت بڑا سانحہ تھا ، انہوں نے سوگوار خاندانوں سے دلی تعزیت کا اظہار کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ غم کی اس گھڑی میں وہ سوگوار خاندانوں کے غم میں شریک ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا ، “انسانی زندگی کا کوئی متبادل نہیں ہے ، لیکن حکومت متاثرین کو یقین دلاتی ہے کہ اس المناک واقعے میں انصاف کے تمام تقاضے پورے کیے جائیں گے۔” وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے ہدایت کی کہ حادثے کی شفاف اور غیر جانبدارانہ تحقیقات اور واقعے سے متعلق حقائق کو منظر عام پر لانے کے لئے کسی بھی قسم کی کسر اٹھا نہیں رکھی جائے گی۔ وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ عوام کو پوری طرح سے آگاہ کیا جائے گا۔
گذشتہ ہوائی حادثات کے بارے میں گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے کہا کہ گذشتہ تمام حادثات کی اطلاعات کو بھی عام کیا جانا چاہئے تاکہ عوام کو اس ضمن میں حقائق سے آگاہ کیا جاسکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہوائی سفر کو محفوظ تر بنانے کے لئے سول ایوی ایشن ، پی آئی اے ، متعلقہ ایجنسیوں اور ہوائی سفر سے متعلق عوامل میں اصلاحات کے عمل کو تیز کرنا ضروری تھا۔ وزیر اعظم نے ہدایت کی کہ شہید مسافروں کے اہل خانہ کو ہر ممکن سہولیات اور معاوضے کی فراہمی کے علاوہ ، حادثے سے متاثرہ افراد کے گھروں یا املاک کو نقصان پہنچنے والے افراد کو معاوضہ فراہم کرنے کے لئے ایک پیکیج بھی تیار کیا جائے۔
