لمبی مشاورت کے بعد یکساں نصاب پالیسی کا مسودہ تیار کرلیا گیا
ملک کی یکساں نصاب پالیسی کی تیاری میں ایک اہم پیشرفت میں ، مسودہ صوبوں اور متعلقہ حکام کے مابین طویل مشاورت کے بعد تیار کیا گیا ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق تیسری قومی نصاب کونسل کا اجلاس وفاقی وزیر تعلیم شفقت محمود کی زیرصدارت ہوا جس میں صوبائی وزیر تعلیم ، متعلقہ سیکرٹریوں اور دیگر عہدیداروں نے شرکت کی۔
اجلاس کے بعد جاری ایک بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ چاروں صوبوں میں یکساں قومی نصاب پر ورکشاپس کا انعقاد کیا گیا جبکہ قومی سطح پر بھی چار روزہ ورکشاپ کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔
اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے شفقت محمود نے کہا کہ یکساں قومی نصاب کا معاملہ ہمارے دلوں کے بہت قریب ہے کیونکہ اس سے تعلیم میں طبقاتی نظام کے خاتمے میں مدد ملے گی۔
انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ زبان کے معاملے پر کوئی ابہام نہیں ہے ، اساتذہ زبان میں پڑھائیں گے جس سے بچے کے سمجھنے میں آسانی ہوگی۔
شفقت محمود نے کہا کہ انگریزی غیر ملکی زبان کی طرح پڑھائی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ وفاقی حکومت کو ایک ماڈل کی نصابی کتاب تیار کرنا چاہئے جو تمام صوبوں اور یونٹوں کے لئے ایک معیار کا نشان ہو۔
وزیر تعلیم نے کہا کہ صوبے اضافی مواد بھی پیش کر سکتے ہیں ، جبکہ یہ خیال رکھتے ہوئے کہ طلباء پر زیادہ بوجھ نہ پڑ جائے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یکساں نظام تعلیم کا بنیادی مقصد تعلیم کے حصول میں ہونے والی ناانصافیوں کا خاتمہ اور تعلیم کے میدان میں طبقاتی خلا کو کم کرنا ہے۔
In a major development to prepare the country’s unified curriculum policy, the draft was drawn up after lengthy consultations between the provinces and the authorities concerned.
Accordingly, a meeting of the third National Curriculum Council took place under the chairmanship of Federal Minister of Education Shafqat Mehmood, in which the provincial education ministers, affected secretaries and other officials took part.
A statement made after the meeting said that unified national curriculum workshops were held in all four provinces, while a four-day workshop was also held at national level.
During the meeting, Shafqat Mehmood said that the issue of a unified national curriculum is very important to us, as this will help eliminate the class system in education.
He made it clear that there are no ambiguities when it comes to language. Teachers will teach in the language that is easier for the child to understand.
Shafqat Mehmood said that English would be taught as a foreign language. The federal government should develop a model textbook that is a yardstick for all provinces and units, he added.
The education minister said the provinces could also introduce additional materials while making sure that the students are not overloaded. The main goal of a unified education system is to eradicate injustices in the pursuit of education and to reduce the class gap in education, he said.
