معاہدے کے بعد ٹی ایل پی کے 800 سے زائد کارکنوں کو رہا
The Punjab government released more than 800 activists from the banned Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) several days after a deal was reached after two weeks of protests.
Punjab Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Raja Basharat told Dawn.com that among those released are those who were detained during the raids of the protests that began on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal.
He said they have been released after scrutiny and workers against whom a First Information Report (FIR) has been recorded will have to request bail from the court.
The provincial minister said it remained to be decided whether TLP workers arrested under the 1960 MPO would be released.
It should be remembered that the TLP had started a protest in Lahore on October 20 for the release of Hafiz Saad Rizvi, who was arrested on April 12 by the Punjab government under the MPO.
However, the leader of the TLP, Pir Ajmal Qadri, later said that the move was out of respect for the Prophet Muhammad and demanded the release of Saad Rizvi.
After three days of clashes with the police in Hor, the TLP began marching towards Islamabad on October 22. Meanwhile, five policemen were martyred on Lahore, Gujranwala and Grand Trunk (GT) roads and several others on both sides. People were injured.
The TLP leadership had instructed its workers on October 30 to await further orders in Wazirabad and, on the other hand, talks had begun between the government and the TLP.
On Sunday, the government negotiating team said it had reached an agreement with the banned organization, but declined to give details.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, who played a key role in the talks with other academics, said details of the deal will be made public in due course.
He said the nation would see positive results within 10 days of next week and declined to elaborate, saying that the voice of action prevails over the voice of words.
According to sources, the government has assured TLP management that the accounts and assets of the banned organization will be restored and that the government will not continue with the minor cases against TLP management and workers, but the cases registered under of the Antiterrorist Law. The decision will be made by the courts.

پنجاب کے وزیر قانون و پارلیمانی امور راجہ بشارت نے بتایا کہ رہائی پانے والوں میں وہ لوگ بھی شامل ہیں جنہیں 12 ربیع الاول سے شروع ہونے والے احتجاجی مظاہروں کے دوران حراست میں لیا گیا تھا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ انہیں جانچ پڑتال کے بعد رہا کر دیا گیا ہے اور جن کارکنوں کے خلاف فرسٹ انفارمیشن رپورٹ (ایف آئی آر) درج کی گئی ہے انہیں عدالت سے ضمانت کی درخواست کرنی ہوگی۔
صوبائی وزیر نے کہا کہ یہ فیصلہ ہونا باقی ہے کہ آیا 1960 کے ایم پی او کے تحت گرفتار ٹی ایل پی کارکنوں کو رہا کیا جائے گا۔
یاد رہے کہ ٹی ایل پی نے حافظ سعد رضوی کی رہائی کے لیے 20 اکتوبر کو لاہور میں احتجاج شروع کیا تھا، جنہیں 12 اپریل کو پنجاب حکومت نے ایم پی او کے تحت گرفتار کیا تھا۔
تاہم، ٹی ایل پی کے رہنما پیر اجمل قادری نے بعد میں کہا کہ یہ اقدام پیغمبر اسلام کے احترام کے منافی ہے اور سعد رضوی کی رہائی کا مطالبہ کیا۔
ہور میں پولیس کے ساتھ تین دن تک جاری رہنے والی جھڑپوں کے بعد،ٹی ایل پی نے 22 اکتوبر کو اسلام آباد کی طرف مارچ شروع کیا۔ اس دوران لاہور، گوجرانوالہ اور گرینڈ ٹرنک سڑکوں پر پانچ پولیس اہلکار اور دونوں طرف سے متعدد افراد شہید ہو گئے۔ لوگ زخمی ہوئے۔
ٹی ایل پی کی قیادت نے 30 اکتوبر کو اپنے کارکنوں کو وزیر آباد میں مزید احکامات کا انتظار کرنے کی ہدایت کی تھی اور دوسری جانب حکومت اور ٹی ایل پی کے درمیان مذاکرات شروع ہو چکے تھے۔
اتوار کو حکومتی مذاکراتی ٹیم نے کہا کہ اس کا کالعدم تنظیم کے ساتھ معاہدہ ہو گیا ہے تاہم اس نے تفصیلات بتانے سے انکار کر دیا۔
دیگر ماہرین تعلیم کے ساتھ بات چیت میں کلیدی کردار ادا کرنے والے مفتی منیب الرحمان نے کہا کہ معاہدے کی تفصیلات مناسب وقت پر منظر عام پر لائی جائیں گی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ قوم اگلے ہفتے کے 10 دنوں میں مثبت نتائج دیکھے گی اور اس کی تفصیل بتانے سے انکار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ عمل کی آواز الفاظ کی آواز پر غالب ہے۔
ذرائع کے مطابق حکومت نے ٹی ایل پی انتظامیہ کو یقین دہانی کرائی ہے کہ کالعدم تنظیم کے اکاؤنٹس اور اثاثے بحال کر دیے جائیں گے اور حکومت ٹی ایل پی انتظامیہ اور کارکنوں کے خلاف معمولی نوعیت کے مقدمات نہیں بلکہ انسداد دہشت گردی قانون کے تحت درج مقدمات کو جاری رکھے گی۔ فیصلہ عدالتیں کریں گی۔
