The PMA President Dr. Ashraf Nizami emphasized the importance of taking strict measures to curb the spread of COVID-19: “The rule they put in place that there should be a 6 foot gap between believers is practically impossible.” Dr. Nizami said he urged the government not to allow the community to pray. The government should write a letter from the state.
Dr. Ashraf Nizami, President of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), said that Pakistan cannot remain isolated from the world regarding the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Developed countries like America and Britain have also opted for closures, although they have a world of resources at their disposal, Dr. Ashraf Nizami
President PMA further said that Pakistan already has a serious shortage of medical facilities and the decision to open mosques and places of worship could prove disadvantageous. The government should think about the security of its people, it is not a question of religion or trade. It is about saving lives.
Dr. Ashraf Nizami also said that the country should learn from the world’s experiences and capitalize on them instead of repeating their mistakes.
A large majority of people diagnosed with COVID-19 have minimal symptoms of the dangerous infection and are usually cured within a few days, he said
Dr. Ashraf Nizami said the World Health Organization (WHO) predicted that the virus could take up to 2 years to come to a sustainable cure.

پی ایم اے کے صدر ڈاکٹر اشرف نظامی نے کورونا کے پھیلاؤ پر قابو پانے کے لئے سخت اقدامات اٹھانے کی اہمیت پر زور دیا ، “انہوں نے یہ قاعدہ کیا ہے کہ نمازیوں کے درمیان 6 فٹ کا فاصلہ ہونا چاہئے جو عملی طور پر ممکن نہیں ہے ،” ڈاکٹر نظامی انہوں نے کہا کہ ، وہ حکومت سے درخواست کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اجتماعی نمازوں کی اجازت نہ دیں ، حکومت ریاست کی رٹ قائم کرے۔
صدر پاکستان میڈیکل ایسوسی ایشن (پی ایم اے) ڈاکٹر اشرف نظامی نے کہا ہے کہ عالمی سطح پر کومویڈ 19 وبائی بیماری کے معاملے پر پاکستان دنیا سے الگ تھلگ نہیں رہ سکتا۔
امریکہ اور برطانیہ جیسے ترقی یافتہ ممالک نے بھی دنیا کے وسائل رکھنے کے باوجود لاک ڈاؤن کا انتخاب کیا ہے۔
ڈاکٹر اشرف نظامی نے یہ بھی کہا کہ ملک کو دنیا کے تجربات سے سبق سیکھنا چاہئے اور اپنی غلطیوں کو دہرانے کے بجائے احتیاط کرنی چاہئے۔
