Nausheen Javed Amjad, chief of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), has reportedly apologized for the meeting of Sadiq Sanjrani’s senate chairman.

Sadiq Sanjrani, chairman of the Senate, was outraged at the cancellation of the meeting by FBR chairman Nausheen Javed Amjad and asked for an answer.
A letter was sent to the FBR chief asking Nausheen Javed to respond because he had shown irresponsible behavior that had already apologized to meet Sadiq Sanjrani twice before.
Due to the rejection of Nausheen Javed Amjad, the planned meetings between the FBR chief and the chairman of the Senate in April and May had been canceled.
The matter would be referred to the Senate Rules and Privileges Committee if the FBR chief doesn’t give a satisfactory answer, the letter said.

سینیٹ کے چیئرمین صادق سنجرانی نے ایف بی آر کے چیئرپرسن نوشین جاوید امجد کے ذریعہ اجلاس کی منسوخی پر برہمی کا اظہار کیا اور ان سے جواب طلب کرلیا۔
ایف بی آر کی سربراہ کو ایک خط بھیجا گیا تھا جس میں نوشین جاوید سے غیر ذمہ دارانہ رویے کو ظاہر کرنے پر جواب طلب کیا گیا تھا جو پہلے ہی دو مرتبہ شیڈول کے مطابق سینیٹ کے چیئرمین صادق سنجرانی سے ملنے سے بہانہ کرچکے ہیں۔
نوشین جاوید امجد کے انکار کے سبب اپریل اور مئی میں ایف بی آر کے سربراہ اور سینیٹ کے چیئرمین کے مابین طے شدہ ملاقاتیں بھی منسوخ ہوگئیں۔
لیٹر میں لکھا گیا ہے کہ اگر ایف بی آر چیف اطمینان بخش جواب دینے میں ناکام رہا تو معاملہ قواعد و ضوابط سے متعلق سینیٹ کمیٹی کو بھیجا جائے گا۔
