بلوچستان میں ‘اومیکرون’ کے 12 مشتبہ کیسز کی رپورٹ
In Balochistan, 12 suspected cases of new type of corona virus ‘Omeicron’ have come to light.
Dr Naqibullah Niazi, in-charge code operation cell of Balochistan, said that 12 suspected cases of Omicron have come to light in Balochistan.
He said that a new type of test has been conducted in Kalat city of Balochistan and samples of suspected cases have been sent to National Institute of Cardiology (NIHD) for verification.
Dr Naqibullah said that Omekron would be confirmed upon receipt of the report of the samples but the affected persons have been quarantined.
Earlier, two cases of ‘Omekron’ variant have also been reported in Sindh.
It may be recalled that on December 8, the first suspected case of Omecron, a highly contagious type of corona virus in Pakistan, came to light in Karachi.
The second case was reported in Karachi on December 9 and was confirmed by the National Institutes of Health on December 13.
The new strain of corona virus, Omecron, was first tested in November in South Africa and then in Hong Kong.
When the new type was unveiled, travel restrictions were imposed on various countries by the NCOC.
Pakistan imposed travel bans on seven countries, including South Africa, on November 27 over Omkron’s concerns.
The six countries affected by the sanctions include South Africa, Lesotho, Switzerland, Mozambique, Botswana and Namibia, as well as Hong Kong.
Later, on December 6, it was decided to impose travel bans on nine more countries, including Croatia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Ireland, Slovenia, Vietnam, Poland and Zimbabwe.
In addition, the NCOC listed 13 countries in the B category, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Trinidad and Tobago, Azerbaijan, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Russia, Thailand, France, Austria, Afghanistan and Turkey.

بلوچستان کے کوڈ آپریشن سیل کے انچارج ڈاکٹر نقیب اللہ نیازی نے بتایا کہ بلوچستان میں اومیکرون کے 12 مشتبہ کیسز سامنے آئے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بلوچستان کے شہر قلات میں ایک نئی قسم کا ٹیسٹ کیا گیا ہے اور مشتبہ کیسز کے نمونے تصدیق کے لیے قومی ادارہ برائے امراض قلب (آئی ایچ ڈی) بھجوائے گئے ہیں۔
ڈاکٹر نقیب اللہ کا کہنا تھا کہ سیمپل کی رپورٹ آنے پر اومکرون کی تصدیق کی جائے گی تاہم متاثرہ افراد کو قرنطینہ میں رکھا گیا ہے۔
اس سے قبل سندھ میں ‘اومیکرون’ ویریئنٹ کے دو کیسز بھی رپورٹ ہو چکے ہیں۔
خیال رہے کہ 8 دسمبر کو پاکستان میں کورونا وائرس کی انتہائی متعدی قسم اومیکرون کا پہلا مشتبہ کیس کراچی میں سامنے آیا تھا۔
دوسرا کیس کراچی میں 9 دسمبر کو رپورٹ ہوا اور قومی ادارہ صحت نے 13 دسمبر کو اس کی تصدیق کی۔
کورونا وائرس کی نئی قسم اومیکرون کا پہلا تجربہ نومبر میں جنوبی افریقہ اور پھر ہانگ کانگ میں کیا گیا۔
جب نئی قسم کی نقاب کشائی کی گئی تو، این سی او سی کی طرف سے مختلف ممالک پر سفری پابندیاں عائد کر دی گئیں۔
پاکستان نے اومکرون کے خدشات پر 27 نومبر کو جنوبی افریقہ سمیت سات ممالک پر سفری پابندیاں عائد کر دی تھیں۔
پابندیوں سے متاثر ہونے والے چھ ممالک میں جنوبی افریقہ، لیسوتھو، سوئٹزرلینڈ، موزمبیق، بوٹسوانا اور نمیبیا کے علاوہ ہانگ کانگ شامل ہیں۔
بعد ازاں 6 دسمبر کو کروشیا، ہنگری، ہالینڈ، یوکرین، آئرلینڈ، سلووینیا، ویت نام، پولینڈ اور زمبابوے سمیت مزید 9 ممالک پر سفری پابندیاں عائد کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا۔
اس کے علاوہ، این سی او سی نے بی کیٹیگری میں 13 ممالک کو درج کیا، جن میں امریکہ، برطانیہ، جرمنی، ٹرینیڈاڈ اور ٹوباگو، آذربائیجان، میکسیکو، سری لنکا، روس، تھائی لینڈ، فرانس، آسٹریا، افغانستان اور ترکی شامل ہیں۔ ۔
