آئی ایچ سی نے وزیراعظم عمران خان کی نااہلی کی درخواست مسترد کر دی
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday dismissed a petition seeking disqualification of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
A two-member bench of the High Court comprising Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir dismissed the case after the petitioner withdrew his petition against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In his petition, the petitioner petitioned the court that Prime Minister Imran Khan did not declare Tarn White as his daughter in the nomination papers submitted to the Election Commission in 2018.
The petitioner requested the court to disqualify Prime Minister Imran Khan under Article 62F of the Constitution for providing false information in the nomination papers. He is no longer honest and trustworthy.
Babar Awan appeared before the Islamabad High Court bench as legal adviser to the Prime Minister.
During the hearing, the court, while expressing anger over the petition, remarked that the first rule of Islam is to cover people’s private lives. Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minallah warned that if such petitions were re-filed in the court, a penalty would be imposed on the petitioner.
اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ (آئی ایچ سی) نے منگل کو وزیراعظم عمران خان کی نااہلی کے لیے دائر درخواست خارج کردی۔
چیف جسٹس اطہر من اللہ اور جسٹس ارباب محمد طاہر پر مشتمل ہائی کورٹ کے دو رکنی بینچ نے درخواست گزار کی جانب سے وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے خلاف درخواست واپس لینے کے بعد کیس کو خارج کر دیا۔
درخواست گزار نے اپنی درخواست میں عدالت سے استدعا کی کہ وزیراعظم عمران خان نے 2018 میں الیکشن کمیشن میں جمع کرائے گئے کاغذات نامزدگی میں ٹیرن وائٹ کو اپنی بیٹی قرار نہیں دیا۔
درخواست گزار نے عدالت سے استدعا کی کہ وزیراعظم عمران خان کو کاغذات نامزدگی میں غلط معلومات فراہم کرنے پر آئین کے آرٹیکل 62 ایف کے تحت نااہل قرار دیا جائے، اب وہ صادق اور امین نہیں رہے۔
بابر اعوان وزیراعظم کے قانونی مشیر کے طور پر اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ بنچ کے سامنے پیش ہوئے۔
سماعت کے دوران عدالت نے درخواست پر برہمی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے ریمارکس دیئے کہ اسلام کا پہلا حکم لوگوں کی ذاتی زندگی پر پردہ ڈالنا ہے۔ چیف جسٹس اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ جسٹس اطہر من اللہ نے خبردار کیا کہ اگر دوبارہ ایسی درخواستیں عدالت میں دائر کی گئیں تو درخواست گزار پر جرمانہ عائد کیا جائے گا۔
