The Federal Government has decided to remove the 48-hour Quarantine requirement for Pakistanis returning from abroad.
Moeed Yousuf, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for National Security, while addressing a press conference in Islamabad, said that the government has changed the policy for those coming from abroad in consultation with the provinces. After the test results, medical experts will decide who will go home and who will not.
Special Assistant Moeed Yousuf said that until now, those coming from abroad were kept in quarantine for 48 hours before corona testing, but now it has been decided to remove this condition and test those coming from abroad as soon as possible. Forty-eight hours will not have to wait for the test, the provinces have been instructed to test in 24 hours.
The mandatory government or hotel quarantine requirement has been abolished for passengers who have a negative corona test. In case of a negative report, passengers will be able to quarantine themselves at home for 14 days, if the test is positive, The condition of the passenger is not bad and the symptoms are not visible, while even if the experts are of the opinion that they can be kept at home, such people will also be quarantined at home. He added that if the passenger’s corona test was positive and the symptoms were severe, he would have to go to a government or hotel quarantine.

معاون خصوصی معید یوسف نے بتایا کہ اب تک بیرون ملک سے آنے والے افراد کو کورونا ٹیسٹنگ سے قبل 48 گھنٹوں کے لئے قرنطین میں رکھا گیا تھا ، لیکن اب فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے کہ اس شرط کو ختم کیا جائے اور جلد از جلد بیرون ملک آنے والوں کی جانچ کی جائے۔ اڑتالیس گھنٹے ٹیسٹ کے لئے انتظار نہیں کرنا پڑے گا ، صوبوں کو چوبیس گھنٹوں میں ٹیسٹ کرنے کی ہدایت کردی گئی ہے۔
