پنجاب میں رینجرز کو گولی چلانے کی اجازت

In Punjab, Rangers were allowed to use weapons when needed to stop protesters. According to the Punjab Home Department, Rangers can enter any place without a warrant and arrest anyone suspected of being involved in any activity against the country.
Rangers can seize weapons and other equipment from anywhere, and lawsuits can be filed against those who take the law into their own hands and pose a threat.
According to the Punjab Home Department, the Rangers have the power to order firing on any person who threatens the life and property of the state and the people. However, under Section 147 of the Constitution, the Rangers now have the powers of the Punjab Police. Under Section 5 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, the Rangers have also been given powers.

پنجاب میں رینجرز کو مظاہرین کو روکنے کے لیے ضرورت پڑنے پر اسلحہ استعمال کرنے کی اجازت دی گئی۔ محکمہ داخلہ پنجاب کے مطابق رینجرز کسی بھی جگہ بغیر وارنٹ کے داخل ہو سکتی ہے اور ملک کے خلاف کسی بھی سرگرمی میں ملوث ہونے کے شبہ میں کسی کو بھی گرفتار کر سکتی ہے۔
رینجرز کہیں سے بھی اسلحہ اور دیگر سامان قبضے میں لے سکتی ہے اور قانون کو اپنے ہاتھ میں لینے اور خطرہ پیدا کرنے والوں کے خلاف مقدمات درج کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔
محکمہ داخلہ پنجاب کے مطابق رینجرز کو ریاست اور عوام کی جان و مال کو خطرہ ہونے والے کسی بھی شخص پر فائرنگ کا حکم دینے کا اختیار ہے۔ تاہم آئین کے سیکشن 147 کے تحت اب رینجرز کے پاس پنجاب پولیس کے اختیارات ہیں۔ انسداد دہشت گردی ایکٹ 1997 کے سیکشن 5 کے تحت رینجرز کو اختیارات بھی دیے گئے ہیں۔
