The Punjab government has issued rules and regulations for home isolation for patients infected with the corona virus. Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Punjab issued notification of SOPs. According to the notification issued, a special home isolation committee will be formed for home isolation.
The deputy commissioner of the concerned district will nominate the members of the home isolation committee. The notification said that the district home isolation committee would be headed by an assistant commissioner and would include officials from the health department and other concerned departments.
Sub-committees will also be formed at the level of urban and rural union councils. The committee will allow quarantine after checking the size of houses and the number of families. The notification said that only those patients who have mild symptoms of corona will be eligible for quarantine at home. If the patient’s condition worsens due to corona virus, he will not be allowed home quarantine.
Education of Corona patients and other families, awareness of Corona will be seen, knowledge of the basic requirements of home isolation will also be tested. According to the notification, the patient will be required to send daily health updates to the health department. The corona patient will have to undergo a test every 10 days during home isolation.
If the test report is negative twice, the patient will be able to finish home isolation. If the corona test is positive for the second time, the test will have to be done again in the next 5 days. The Punjab government’s notification said that for the corona test, the staff of the health department would take the sample from home and the patient would be allowed to undergo the test from a private laboratory approved by the government. In areas where testing is not available, the corona patient will isolate itself for another 2 weeks after the symptoms have subsided.

حکومت پنجاب نے کورونا وائرس سے متاثرہ مریضوں کے لئے گھر میں آئسولیشن کے قواعد و ضوابط جاری کردیئے ہیں۔ سیکرٹری پرائمری اینڈ سیکنڈری ہیلتھ پنجاب نے ایس او پیز کا نوٹیفکیشن جاری کردیا۔ جاری کردہ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق ، گھر میں آئسولیشن کرنے کے لئے خصوصی ہوم آئسولیشن کمیٹی تشکیل دی جائے گی۔
متعلقہ ضلع کا ڈپٹی کمشنر ہوم آئسولیشن کمیٹی کے ممبروں کو نامزد کرے گا۔ نوٹیفکیشن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ ضلعی ہوم آئسولیشن کمیٹی کی سربراہی اسسٹنٹ کمشنر کریں گے اور اس میں محکمہ صحت اور دیگر متعلقہ محکموں کے عہدیدار شامل ہوں گے۔
شہری اور دیہی یونین کونسلوں کی سطح پر بھی ذیلی کمیٹیاں تشکیل دی جائیں گی۔ کمیٹی گھروں کے سائز اور فیملی کی تعداد کی جانچ پڑتال کے بعد قرنطین کی اجازت دے گی۔ نوٹیفکیشن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ صرف وہی مریض جن کی کورونا کی ہلکی علامات ہیں وہ گھر میں ہی قرنطائن کے اہل ہوں گے۔ اگر مریض کی حالت کورونا وائرس کی وجہ سے خراب ہو جاتی ہے تو اسے گھر میں قرنطین کرنے کی اجازت نہیں ہوگی۔
کورونا مریضوں اور دیگر فیملی کی تعلیم ، کورونا کے بارے میں شعور دیکھا جائے گا ، گھر کی آئسولیشن کی بنیادی ضرورتوں کے بارے میں بھی معلومات کی جانچ کی جائے گی۔ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق ، مریض کو محکمہ صحت کو روزانہ صحت کی تازہ معلومات بھیجنے کی ضرورت ہوگی۔ گھر کی آئسولیشن کے دوران ہر 10 دن میں کورونا مریض کو ٹیسٹ کرانا پڑے گا۔
اگر ٹیسٹ رپورٹ دو بار منفی ہے تو ، مریض گھر میں آئسولیشن ختم کرنے کے قابل ہو جائے گا۔ اگر دوسری بار کرونا ٹیسٹ مثبت ہے تو ، اگلے 5 دن میں دوبارہ ٹیسٹ کرنا پڑے گا۔ حکومت پنجاب کے نوٹیفکیشن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ کرونا ٹیسٹ کے لئے محکمہ صحت کا عملہ نمونہ گھر سے لے گا اور مریض کو حکومت کی طرف سے منظور شدہ نجی لیبارٹری سے ٹیسٹ لینے کی اجازت ہوگی۔ ان علاقوں میں جہاں جانچ دستیاب نہیں ہے ، علامات کم ہونے کے بعد ، کورونا مریض خود کو 2 ہفتوں کے لئے آئسولیشن کرے گا۔
